Piccolo was also amazed at their power on the Lookout, and considered them the planet's only hope after Vegeta died and Son Goku was nowhere to be found (so this was before Fusion was even brought up). Vegeta felt the same when he requested the boys be taken far away, and Piccolo practically agreed without even feeling hurt by such a remark. Piccolo wouldn't be one to have false hope, he usually puts people down if they do. He assumed that the boys could train and become > Majin Boo, even without being Gotenks one day.
