That alone has nearly sold it for me, and seeing him parkour through the ferris wheel was just an extra point. The gameplay seems more refined and precise, and less stiff than DMC4.

Dude you are missing out. 2 is pretty much the worst one out of the lot I don't even count it as a DMC game, 3 and 4 are awesome(can't decide which is better probably 3 though) As for this game I can't wait for it. It seems like it might be pretty fail but hopefully it will work trailers so far make it seem brilliant anwyay. So I take it he's still a demon hunter of sorts but the world views him as a terrorist because he's always at the scene of devastation? That kinda thing. I'm going to miss the old Dante but this one seems ok... Hopefully there's still some kind of Devil Trigger guess the mark on his back could be that.

Like old Dante. He's also part angel in the reboot

I'll probably give this a chance now as I'm getting back into the series atm. Still iffy about that story line though.

It looks cool but it also looks like theyve killed what DMC used to bé, not that its going to bé bad but its more like its another series than the same thing. Anyway yeah late reply Flash but I havent really looked anywhere but trailers its not a game that excites me a whole lot so far. I would rather a new part to the story there are still unanswered questions... And even though hes different its still Dante...hes not thaat cool. Yeah you do get to play as Dante in 4 for about the same amount of time as you were Nero. I quite liked Nero, what was so wrong with him? Nice change really quite liked the arm thing, it was different. Now its pretty much certain that Vergil isnt going to bé in it or will bé far less cool

That part angel thing sounds kind of lame to me as well. I guess I just don't like this big of a change.
