I think it's pretty silly. Porn isn't that bad many even consider it "art" these days. As long as it's not rape, bestiality, extreme stuff with self harm etc, or involving minors I don't see much of a problem with it. Less being made would be fine but to completely ban it is so stupid people would go crazy over that. It's not exactly fair. People make the choice to watch it why should the directors or actors/stars whatever you want to call them pay for doing their job? Cut out all the disgusting stuff and there's nothing wrong with it. Removing porn won't remove sex fom society all of a sudden, I'd say stuff like Jersey Shore is far worse they practically promote going out half naked and having hundreds of sexual partners, and there are hundreds of these kind of mindless programmes that teenagers watch and they're pretty much all extremely suggestive and make out that having sex and getting drunk is all that matters in life. Good life lessons there. Porn is just sex. It's not really about anything it's just there and people enjoy watching it, like any film. Some people even feel they need it as a stress reliever what are you supposed to do if you have absolutely no confidence? Some people just can't handle physical contact with other people no matter how natural it may be. As a teenager it's pretty damn hard for any guy to remain "pure" it's part of gowing up. Everyone gets urges, it's important to be comfortable with your own body. It's hardly causing the "collapse" of America on it's own what a hypchondriac Rick is. I see where he's coming from in a way but making it all illegal isn't the solution, people are always going to be able to get it. And if they can't will probably turn to worse things, men especially. |

Hard to read an obvious bias and poorly written article on the subject. Subjective terms and liberal angles don't do much good. In general though it all just sounds stupid. |

I like how people still vote for him even though he talks about the stupidest -blam-! First he went on a 5 minute discussion on Polish people wearing bracelets saying "dont euthinize me" to banning porn! Gawd not to mention he is extremely homophobic which is ironic because he is one of the few people to still wear plad sweater vests. How can people even look at him like a possible canidate? God i hate politicians. /rant |

Yeah it just seems silly, the thought of him being President. George Bush again would be a better idea. It was a biased article, but Rick is clearly biased to things he talks about lol. What next ban fast food because it makes people fat? Wouldn't be surprised if he's mentioned that already. If he made it he'd be voted out as soon as he started to change everything. Sarah Palin ftw...she's still a candidate right? I don't really keep up with politics because everytime I read about it it's something stupid like this. |

He's probably the most conservative candidate left, so this doesn't surprise me. Many religious conservatives have the same ideals as Santorum, and while I don't agree with all of them, many people do. I don't appreciate porn, but I don't think outlawing it would do any good. My stance on this topic is fairly mutual. |

It's also a major non issue. Doesn't he have sollutions to any real problems? There's a lot of people in America who can't afford healthcare. What's his solution to that? Seems to be a lack of good jobs available too. What is he going to do about that? This guy seems so clueless to the real issues. Why would people want someone so ignorant to be in charge of anything? |

That's just ridiculous, you can't 'ban' porn because it's impossible. Do you know how much that industry makes a year? A hell of a lot. What's that? Americans are suffering from bad health? LOL. Ima try to do something impossible instead. That'll sort everything out! |

Aw darn about Sarah she was cool lol. Yeah Rick seems to just decide whatever he wants to do will fix everything when really it will piss everyone off. What about the many thousands of pornstars that practically only know how to have sex? Lol that's a shame. Imagine going to jail because you imported porn from somewhere, how ridiculous. Obesity and healthcare are by far the worst things sort them out and people will get jobs and probably watch less porn because they're out the house. Plus porn leads to exercise what's wrong with that? It'd be almost as stupid as when people get branded paedophiles and go to jail because they have a picture or two of their kid having their first bath. What constitutes as porn to him anyway? Modelling agencies would probably take a major hit too. For so small a problem it would piss off a lot of people. I kind of want him to try it just to see peoples reactions imagine he got assassinated for that, lol. |

I don't live in America so I'm not well versed on the whole political aspect. Who is the most likely to be elected as the new president? At a guess I'd say it's between Obama and Paul. |

Actually I believe it's Mitt Romney who is Obama's main rival. I still think Obama will win. I don't think it will be a landslide though. |
