 I don't think Gohan was THAT much stronger than Son. Son at SSjin2 would have been able to take PC with the same ease Gohan did imo.
In fact, he would have got the job done and not had to have killed himself.

Now, if SPC was created but with Gohan's cells (somehow making his way back to Earth w/o IT) , Son would lose the resulting KHH struggle, even without the self-doubt and his iron will imo.

According to my handy dandy calculator, this puts Gohan at about >147% of Goku's power, which I feel is drastic. In Cui vs Vegeta, Vegeta being 133% of Cui's power (24000:18000) was enough for a stomp, so Gohan doesn't need to be that far above that. I'd put it at something like:

Goku (At Cell)Gohan (At Cell)Cell (Maximum)Goku (Cell Games, "Super Saiyan 2")

But then in this case, Goku has a larger advantage. Using your numbers, Goku takes it with extreme difficulty. Using my numbers, Goku takes it with medium difficulty, and with a slightly bigger advantage.

Same here, pretty much. Except that I think he would have more difficulty in doing it than Gohan would.

I suppose I can explain myself somewhat.

Cell was stated to be a good few steps ahead of Goku, and then Gohan stated that they both seemed to be still half-stepping.

I have Goku just rivaling Cell while Cell rivals Gohan's power, so Goku would just be that much lower. I'm assuming both of us have Cell (At Goku) at about 25... my Cell Games in a nutshell.

 I have MSSJ Gohan being 180% of MSSJ Goku.

With that said, SSJ2 Goku would be slightly weaker than Perfect Cell, so I have him winning due to skill, much like he "won" against Cell with the kamehameha, but this time Goku totally obliterate Cell with his wave.

I'm sure Goku would be able to handle Cell just fine at that stage. Good fight, good series of attacks used on each other, but Goku stands at the end.

 Goku would take on FP PC pretty easily, but zenkai'd Cell handles him easily.
