Paper money IS unconstitutional. There's absolutely nothing crazy about it. Go read up on it. |

That list makes Obama seem like a saint. Romney seems the best after that. :/ |

I think economic issues are a lot more important at the moment. |

sadly, I am not well-versed in economic issues. If someone would like to bring up points for economic issues for each candidate and back them up with legitimate sources that would be awesome. But I wouldn't be the person to do so because I hardly understand it anyway. Having said that, we shouldn't sacrifice either side, economic or social concerns, when selecting a candidate. |

Article I, Section 8, Clause 5: To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures; http://press-pubs.uchicago.edu/founders/tocs/a1_8_5.html to make (coinage) by stamping metal: The mint is coining pennies. I guess technically yes but it's not like the constitution is perfect. Then again I don't know much about the issue of paper money if there even is an issue. |

@Ron Paul Believing that abortion is murder doesn't (or at least shouldn't) affect his stance on his GOP bid, besides the fact that there is nothing wrong with having diverse opinions he believe that abortion should be left up to states, which abides by our constitution anyway. lol @ paper money example. Paper money is nothing because it's compared to a standard as all money is, he's 100% right there, even though it wont change because it's virtually impossible. Even though I like the Roe V. Wade decision, it was unconstitutional. The decision hung in the balance of how you translate loose terms like "privacy" and how you perceive that when talking about a subject that is partially one thing and partially another. Ever since this, the judicial branch seems to think the constitution is up to their personal translation. Of course it would be naive of me to say that this is the only cause, but it certainly helped form the worst branch of government we currently have. @Obama I wont vote for him for the 3 reasons he ran his campaign on. he said on day one he would recall all troops from Iraq... It took him 3 years lol. Also, he promised to lower the deficit by the time the next election rolled around, and for people who haven't kept up it's increased by over 4 trillion dollars :/ Last was his big stimulus packages. OMG I don't know how this could of went any worse. When you think you're going to create jobs from cutting taxes and giving states money to create new jobs, you're in for a rude awakening... Guess what these states and the federal government did with the money? Well we'll just give every person who can't find a job a bunch of food stamps and extend the age on how long kids can live with their parents while their parents get money for it. Here is another example of using money to create more money, so it looks like the initial money spent had some purpose whatsoever. Obama is better in his personal ideology and outlook on life, however he is subpar as a president, or at least he has been for 3+ years. |

True but at the time the economy was booming. When Bush first entered the white house we had a balanced budget and a low unemployment rate of 4%. Also Kerry wasn't the brightest guy around so...yeah Here's an interesting article I found http://clinton4.nara.gov/WH/new/html/Fri_Dec_29_151111_2000.html We all know how that turned out.
Wasn't he following Bush's pullout plan for Iraq? lol |

From what I've seen Obama hasn't actually had an easy time in office, being stonewalled by Congress a lot. Running the country is a combined effort, he can't make all the decisions himself, Congress has to be involved. With the paper money thing I was more leaning towards that, from I've heard, he wants to go back to the gold standard. Like I said, I don't know much about economy, but I have heard that would actually be a bad thing. |

Nither are most of the Republican candidates to be fair Also, there are other choices aren't there? Maybe vote for someone not Republican or Democrat. There's the argument of why vote for them because they'll never be elected but they'll never be elected if no one votes for them. I rarly vote for a major party in the UK, my vote doesn't usually count for much as a result but I vote for the candidate I best identify with not the one I think stands the best chance of getting elected to get rid of someone I dislike. |

Here are my opinions: Ron Paul: Abortion is murder. I agree that abortion is murder, and he wants to leave it up to the states, so that's fine by me. I think that a woman has the right to choose even though it goes against my own personal beliefs. Roe v. Wade decision was harmful to the Constitution. Can someone please explain this? Embryonic stem cell programs not constitionally authorized. I agree. Voted YES on banning Family Planning funding in US aid abroad. Again, I would need an explanation on this one. Paper money in unconstitutional; only gold is legal tender. Agree. lol No affirmative action for any group. Meh. Voted YES on banning homosexual adoptions in DC He's a Republican, so this is a given. I disagree, but it's not an issue that I worry much about right now. Mitt Romney: Vetoed emergency contraception for r ape victims Eh? Vetoed stem cell research bill. I agree. GovWatch: 1994: Favored homosexuals serving openly in military. I agree. Opposes legalization of recreational or medical marijuana. I definitely agree. Climate change is occurring, with SOME human contribution. I agree. So far, it's looking like Romney is the candidate for me according to these issues, but I still need some of Ron Paul's issues explained. I disagree with Obama on everything except for the issues dealing with education, for the most part. On a side note, why the heck won't it let me go through with my posts even though I used racy words? Everyone else is able to do this! lol |

I am Canadian , so I don't pay attention very much to the Americans presidential race. But , I do know that the states need someone who can greatly budget the country out of debt. They also need to pay attention to their trading and lower/middle class families. American is a mess, no offence inteded. *Note: Moving topic to deep discussion, its above general. Not really a fan of Romney ever since I saw him ignore a guy in a wheel chair asking if he would arrest him for using medicinal weed to help him eat. Then how Santorum talked out his *** about Polish people getting uthenized and wearing bracelets and sadly his popularity rose from it. I'm still siding wid Paul cause he Mah boy! Ps I see you liked my avatar^^ Edited by Optimus Banana, Feb 24 2012, 02:58 AM.

Democrats and Republicans have a lot of money piled up to make this the most expensive election in history. Third parties have no media exposure. An educated person might vote for them but the average American has no idea who they even are. Your vote literally wont mean anything. Besides it doesn't look like they have anyone decent anyway http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/gossip/2012/02/roseanne-barr-running-for-president-green-party.html
Ron Paul wont win the nomination |
