his meaning is obvious? what you just said doesnt even fit, the word nigga is said by everyone, INCLUDING him, he admitted it. This conversation was started by pelador who obviously doesnt consider the difference in pronunciation, so you cant just flip back and forth, saying you use it then get mad for being oppressed, Like i stated, not all blacks use that word, and look down on those who do, so? what does that have to do with KP being oppressed by other whites for using it? If he's going to express any frustration then it needs to be at HIS issue, not just speaking in general, he made it seem like he himself has been oppressed. Since he said his black friends dont have issues? then it cant be them. So no, the reason is NOT obvious. |

Honestly OFG? complexity is looking like whats being called upon here, as this is a complex situation. It was simple enough at first, but then he's still acting like he's being oppressed to say that word despite the fact he probably says it on a daily basis. Alot of people confuse the word "nigga" for "n*gger" most people dont like either variation, but in the minds of many they are two different words. A variation play. Either way, most people are interested in the word n*gger, because they think thats the word being used. Or dont care for the street variation. So...if he's already getting away with saying nigga to his friends? then for what other reason does he need to say it? all im asking. Cause last i checked blacks DONT run around calling each other n*gger. Despite the word variation and popular belief. Besides, theres like a hundred other actual racial epitaphs that can be used to insult someone black, or with dark skin. N*gger is at the bottom for most younger kids as far as the new generation goes, I was born in the 80's, i wasnt affected by that word growing up, even though some people called me that. its supposed to hurt, but it doesnt. Thats what people dont get, that word doesnt hurt people, its usually the vitriole and physical violence that used to go with that word during a time when blacks were just minding their own business and trying to get by. Down south? people used to get attacked in the street by mobs of whites who simply didnt want them around, drinking water, or walking the street, now you like blaming young black gangbangers and call them animals when they do something along the same lines fearing for your safety whenever someone black comes around, but not even knowing if you live next door to a serial killer. This situation is wayy to comlex to be declared simple. Some people just wont let it go. Time may heal wounds, but it doesnt forget. If you say the word then say it, depending on the variation and WHOM you are around? there will be consequences. Always. So if he really hangs out with blacks that think its cool? then thats his world, i just dont see what his problem is, not getting a way with saying a word NO one really gets away with. As for me, i dont feel the need to flip out if someone says it, but i dont speak for others, this is just a blanket statement. Agent g and others have their own beliefs as well. |

blacks? African americans dont have black skin...its brown...just like Caucasians dont have white skin. lol. Im part African American, I dont mind Caucasians using the N*gga, just not N*gger. The word "blacks" doesn't bother most people, just like calling people "white" doesn't. I would much rather say "white" than "Caucasian," but maybe that's just me. The variation of the word is just as offensive. You can claim it's not, but it is. It's the same thing. |

Wow today in Chemistry we were taking a quiz and the all the black kids (except my friend Zack) grouped in the back and were being disruptive and swearing. The one was yelling about loosing his head phones and a fat girl turned around and said who she thought had them. He was like "Excuse who you think you tawkin too white gurl?". She asked him to please be quiet about his headphones we're taking a quiz, which he responded with "watch your mouth fat b**** my head phones costed more than all of wutcha wearing.". Then he and the others started laughing and calling her a fat b**** for a while. Kinda pissed me off and I wanted to say some stuff but I didn't.

Sounds like my high school. You'd be best to just ignore it. While you're graduating to college and getting a career, they'll either still be in high school, dropped out and living on welfare (if not already), or in jail for something. |

Yeah she's seems to be afraid to punish them cause there black or something. I mean she's pretty laid back but if anyone else did it they would have been sent out. @FanGuy It's a sophomore class and 2 of them are seniors and the other one is a junior. |

Yeah as long as your alright to get along with I don't mind you. I just don't ghetto acting gangsters walking around picking on people smaller than them. In my gym class there was this big black girl that wouldn't try and all she would want to do is talk to some other snobby white girls. So we were playin soccer and see was goalie. This short fat kid in my grade said "Hey this is gym class you actually have to move". She said "B*** imma come up there and knock your fat*** out. I'll have my brothers Clay and Terrence knock you the **** out!". Terrence was in our gym class heard it and came up in the bleachers and said "Boy watch Wut u say bout Mah sister or I'll beat yo a**". We switched in with a big group and Terrence took him to the back and put him in a head lock, whispered something in his ear and tossed him on the ground. Terrence is 6'4 230+. The other kid was 5'8 200+. Then there was the time Terrence hit me in the balls in basket football (basketball with a football) with the ball when I went to block his throw. And he tried to put me in a head lock in the locker room. I tucked my chin and raised my shoulders, raised his arm and and put him in a chicken wing and say him down and said I dont like being touched. I get what you're saying. Not that racism should be allowed but it's pretty annoying when a black person is insulting you in the regular manner but if you say anything bad or if a fight starts, that they started, it's a hate crime and everyone blames you. Not fair how white people are barely allowed to defend themselves. People fight, its human nature just because a black guy and a white guy had a fight doesn't mean it was a hate crime against the black guy. Bugs me because it's all so sensitive but if you're black you can say the N word as much as you want with pretty much no consequences, it should be frowned upon for anyone saying it or be accepted for both skin colours(I'm not listing them all before anyone gets on at me just generalizing) It's just a word why are people still so hung up about it? There are far worse things to be said in this world people should just stop letting it bother them. There's nothing wrong with being black, being called the N word shouldn't matter all a person needs to say is what's wrong with that? It's not a crime. Unless a person isn't proud of who they are they should just learn to not care imo. |
