Don't flame me, just hear me out. I know Dragon Ball is not Marvel or DC Comics. But since the anime triology and manga has come to an end, the only new thing for Dragon Ball has been DBZKai and a couple of new movies, and the Bardock special. (Of Course Video Games too but i'm refering to anime material), So to bring in a new generation of Dragon Ball fans I was thinking perhaps they could create alternate series/universes of Dragon Ball. They do the same with Marvel, some of the video games do not follow the original story of the super hero. Spider Man Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time have nothing to do with the mainline spider man story. So why not do the same with DBZ. Retell the story with the same characters in a new way with a new storyline, or create video games that take place in alternate universes. But always make it clear that these alternate storylines and universes are seperate from the original and mainline Dragon Ball Story. We don't even have to focus on the Z warriors. We could have stories about Turles or other popular characters that don't receive much attention. Imagine a story with a mutated giant version of Cell. Stuff like that. I think there is a real potiential here for a bright Dragon Ball future. I think if Akira Toriyama explored this route than Dragon Ball would easily gain new fans and become as popular or I believe even more popular than Marvel and DC Comics over time. |

I think that would be nice, but after Kai apparently didn't do so well, I doubt Toriyama and/or Toei would do much more with the series. Toriyama is doing Dragonball Online, but that's about it. |

There's a chance it might end up like GT. Personally I would really like a remake of DBZ with up to date graphics. |

I personaly hated that Toriyama/and Toei released DBZKai. DBZ is already popular as it is with the thousands of merchandice, vhs, dvds, and video games not to mention the collectable trading card games. In addition we already have the orange brick dvd season collections so why bother making Kai? Makes no sense. As for a remake I think it should just be the full episodes/full sagas uncut in HD instead of Kai making it shorter. The reason why I want it hd is that many older video games are being released in hd. So if they want to "re-release" DBZ they should keep it as it is but more in high quality. And not let it be aired on television, so it couldn't be cut and censored

Toonami would be the perfect place for an uncut remastered DBZ, or DBZ Kai. I just hate all that ridiculous filler sometimes. |

Toonami would be a nice place for an uncut DBZ, but it probably won't happen for a bit. |

As much as I disliked TOEI for Kai, for their way of milkin endlessly, the fillers could get on my nerves sometimes... |

They'd have to completely redo all of GT, and even then it might fail because the DBZ fanbase of today's age doesn't know who Majin Boo is. |

Dragon Ball Kai doesn't have a Boo Saga, so I guess it isn't their fault. Blame Nicktoons. |

I still think the majority of the fan base would enjoy it, and the Kai fan base could accept boo |

Yeah, thats for sure. Personally, Boo is the type of villain you'd like for various aspects, be it his childish attitude, insane powers, his unrivalled regenerations which makes Cell pale in comparison, plus all that random transformations stc. That guy is a maniac!!! |
