Posts: 663 Group: Member Member #6,803 Joined: September 28, 2011	I don't play RP over the internet but from personal experience I can tell you that Dragon Ball is better than Dragon Ball Z when it comes to roleplaying and having fun with friends. I'd assume DBZ RPs evolve around raw strenght, powerlevels and a lot of amplified beams. With the right setup you can make a Dragon Ball RP work really smooth though. The fact that fights are decided not only by physical prowess but skill, creative usage of techniques and some luck can make for a lot of unpredictables and fun outcomes. Also I like the fact that the players slowly become super-humans and don't start already as one. And not every technique has to be a beam that explodes or a power-up.

Dragonball Advent Truth is a good one that i used to play, until i burnt out on MUDs in general. It's enforced roleplay (every character needs a short biography within 24 play hours of creation, getting past level 15 requires roleplay points earned through logged RP, etc.). there are a lot of races, and you need 60 roleplay points to play a saiyan, so they aren't overplayed. and namekians can't fuse, in case you were wondering.
	list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god
