In the anime, SSJ3 Goku was on par with Mystic Gohan. Kid Buu was much stronger than Super Buu. Kind of like two different stories. Manga & Anime. Edited by Genki, Jan 30 2012, 08:42 PM.

Wait I got this. Goku needed to fuse because he was trying to save Trunks, Goten and Piccolo inside Buu. So in the anime he had the power to beat Buu but no way to get inside him and survive without the potara's magic! Of course! That's why he didn't kill Buutenks in their fight because it would mean killing the boys and Piccolo. |

You've seen. Buutenks was hardly breaking a sweat compared to Goku. Maybe you read too much manga

Kid Buu should be below Buutenks. Everything else is correct. |

Oh, I added Buutenks at the last minute and forgot the bump down Kid Buu. And I didn't turn to the Japanese Anime to find that Kid Buu > Super Buu, In the Anime, Ultimate Gohan > Super Buu, and when Goku fought the Gohan clone inside Buuhan, he stated it was as strong as the real Gohan, and Goku only used SSjin to beat him. So... Anime Wise: SSjin 3 Goku > Kid Buu >> SSjin Goku > Ultimate Gohan > Super Buu. Edited by GrooseStrikesBack, Jan 31 2012, 12:32 AM.

SSJ3 Goku before he got back his real body would probably be the strongest. Even once he got his body, i'd say he was at the very least as strong as Gohan. |

Calm down, ye of little faith! It's pretty clear Toei either didn't know what Toriyama was doing with the manga, or retconned what they'd done with the anime that followed Toriyama's vision and went their own way to make Son Goku and Pure Boo the strongest beings. There are multiple statements backing up those two being the strongest, as well as the filler inside Boo's head. Then again, Son Goku's statement of not being able to fight normal Evil Boo even with Vegeta's help is still intact, so even the anime doesn't know what it's really doing unless you go the retcon route. You could always just ignore the contradicting filler and follow the manga even through the anime, though. |

Well, it's pretty obvious that Kid Buu is the strongest, but I wonder if the earlier villains would be proportionally easier to beat. Could Goku beat Cell in one punch? In season nine, Cell is in the underworld and sees Kid Buu fight SS3 Goku. The others ask how strong he is, to which Cell replies "I didn't put up that much of a fight and he still gave up." One would think it would be that simple, but when Goku and Pikkon go to the underworld Frieza and the Ginyu Force attacks them. Goku turns SS, but his punches only knock them down temporarily. Why? |

Toei trolled and is currently laughing at everyone who debates anime logic. Kid Buu < Super Buu and Toei knows it. Otherwise Pikkon (Weighted) > Perfect Cell, Pikkon (Weighted) ~ Goku (Base), Yamcha ~ Obilu, Pikkon, Base Goku, etc. - the gospel truth, guys!
