He slacked of during the 7 year gap so why did he decide to train during the 10 year gap? (for believers who think he kept training to achieve super saiyan back instead of losing his mystic form)

I'm glad he decided to keep training. I just wish he could of been a bigger help and had a better appearance. I would really like to see his full potential on how strong he's gotten.

Not to mention Goten and Trunks were asked to train and set the example for Uub by Goku, and as we saw they did, but not as hard as they should have. He probably wanted to set an example and be good enough to always be able to help his dad, Vegeta, and Uub while also keeping his daughter safe.

I dont think he would go past that though. Although in gt he looked like an ssj2.
