GT's Super Saiyan multiplier is just absurd

 This, is one of the many reasons I hate GT.

Seriously, if turning into an oozaru makes you 4x stronger than your ssj, then how is ssj a legend then? The ssj multiplier has never been proven to decrease.

Since when?
Toriyama wrote the battle between Frieza and Goku, which completely proves the 50x multiplier.
I always find your 10x multiplier funny. Super Saiyan Goku would have been killed by 50% Frieza if it were true.

 This has to be one of the silliest reasons to hate GT yet.

SSjin Gotenks (Pre) > SSjin 3 Goku > Base Gotenks (Pre) > SSjin 2 Goku proves the multiplier does not stay 50x even in the original series.

Toriyama himself said he wrote the series with 10x in mind anyway.

I think the idea was that the GOLDEN Great Ape was a bit stronger than SSJ, and it might also depend on what SSJ forms the user has mastered. So, someone that could reach SSJ 3, would be much stronger in Golden Ape Form than someone who's only mastered SSJ.

At least, that's how I'd rationalize it; it probably doesn't work like that at all in the show.

 It was never the great ape, it was golden great ape. Essentially a Super Saiyan great ape, maybe even having power from Super Saiyan 3 which would make it x10 stronger than that.
