Namekians reproduce asexually, through eggs shot out of their mouths, and some Namekians have been shown to do this at will, so if Piccolo chose too, he could probably give birth.

Then again probably not because he's fused with Kami so is now more complete, and fused with Nail, so he should be able to have normal Namekian children. In Dragon Ball Online's background story he was able to have regular Namekian children I think.

Well that's most likely a conceptual explanation. But the person who started this thread was most likely looking for an in-universe explanation of it, therefore going into the mutated Namekian stuff. Posts: 61 Group: Member Member #7,144 Joined: December 30, 2011	I was kind of partial to the same point of view as SirParagon but songohanfrancais is right, I was trying to see if there was some sort of DBZ universe reason behind this. brolyeuphyfusion, I know he gave birth to some mutants, but I saw a lot of dinosaurs in there too and I was more curious about that. Like Piano and a bunch of other dinosaurs I saw in the screens when they showed the evil King Piccolo's old armies. Thanks guys.

Besides being able to speak he's not remotely Namekian so dinosaur does make sense. I wonder why Piccolo never done it imagine how helpful a bunch of them would be against either Nappa or Raditz he could effectively double the teams fighting power

Dragonball-reality answer: King Piccolo was described as a "Demon", and I would say he aqwired demon-like powers, just like Kami aqwired "god"-like powers. One of these powers was to create demon spawn, not a common namekian trait. None of them, besides Piccolo Jr., were Namekians.
