That was it.

Most of Naruto's worst moments are in late Shippuden. Here are my worst moments in no particular order: 4) Naruto's recent obsession with Sasuke. He hyperventilates while thinking about him. Yeah, really. 5) Sakura's "I'm going to kill Sasuke" fail. 6) Kakashi's recent uselessness and decline in power compared to the rest of the lot. 7) Every single minor/supporting character's uselessness. I agree with these points the most. Especially #7. The strongest ninja in the manga are or are on their way to being completely useless. The kage's have been surpassed in power by Naruto/Sasuke and both of those characters are very likely to gain another power up. Soon i feel like the manga is going to be Naruto vs Bad guy and Sasuke vs. Who ever gets in his way/Naruto.

Sakura vs Sasori- Sakura getting rid of a poisonous cloud that was supposedly so poisonous 1 breath would poison her by using an explosive tag- 1. explosion should have hurt her 2. How did the cloud disappear from the explosion? Diffusion? Chemical reaction. Diffusion wouldn't happen fast enough for it to be safe for her to breathe so soon (since even a small amount of poison would apparently kill her) so must be a chemical reaction....however seem incredibly unlikely that the chemical reaction would not leave some visible products. 2. Sakura vs Sasori- Sakura uses the antidote for Sasori's poison and says it will last 3 minutes. 1. She spends 2 minutes talking then says she has used 1 minute of her time already. No. It was way more than 2 minutes and there's no excuse like simultaneous events being shown at different times leading to longer screen time since all that's shown is her and the old lady talking, and maybe Sasori talking to them. 2. She then plans to directly hit Sasori while the antidote is in effect so she can ignore all his poisonous puppets and get a proper final strike. As she goes to punch him she to my horror began counting down from 10. So you're telling me that she was counting down in her head while talking the old lady and running around? Also she clearly had run over her time long ago. She's also so confident in her counting ability despite the circumstances that she hits Sasori exactly when the countdown is finished. Also no poison goes into her blood just after that? No poison located on her skin ends up going into her cuts after the antidote has worn out? 3. Naruto vs Orichamaru- Orichamaru repeatedly uses unexplained techniques such as his body turning into snakes. Also his arm doesn't bleed when more than half of it is ripped off.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Fullmetal Alchemist	To break the chain of hate going on in this topic (C WUT I DID THUR, LAWL?), I've actually enjoyed Naruto a lot more over the past year and a half or so. Ever since the Yami-Naruto chapters, I think Naruto has gotten so good, and there hasn't really been a decline in that, although I know there will be. I think that's mostly because for a lot of Part 2 it's seemed like the Manga could be renamed "Sasuke" and there be no difference in the storytelling, but since Naruto and Killer Bee met up, I've looked forward to Naruto so much more every week. On Naruto's Character Development I'm actually loving where it's going. Especially in the latest two chapters - talking with the Yonbi and connecting with the Kyuubi (Kurama, now, I guess xD) - has really made Naruto seem that much more of a mature character. I like how the Kyuubi has gone from just this malevolent force inside Naruto to a fully fledged character, shown to have his own thoughts and feelings instead of "LEMME TAKE OVER YOU, PLZ?" Naruto has always been a "I need to prove myself, because nobody will help me" to "Everybody supports me to do what we need to do" and I think that's been my favourite part of the character development in the series. He's not the same, annoying boy he was at the start of the series, and if you compare that to manga like Bleach and Fairy Tale, the characters are very static. Ichigo is basically the same as he was to begin with. On Supporting Characters I agree that it sucks characters like Neji and Chouji get overlooked when they kick *****, but the main point is that they're supporting characters. We've had as much of their backstory as we're going to get, and it makes their rare appearances that bit more special. Look at the fight between Gaara and Yondaime Kazekage. That was all sorts of awesome, not just because it was a good fight, but because the emotion was done really well. If we saw Gaara fight as often as we saw Kakashi and Naruto, it'd get boring. Instead we get to see him mature in leaps, rather than the steps Naruto takes. I'm sad that Rock Lee isn't that big a part of it, anymore, but I'm far more intrigued by Naruto than any other still-living character, so I'm not complaining too badly. I'd love to see a Minato gaiden, or a Jiraiya one, but I doubt they'll ever happen. On Sasuke, Itachi, Danzou, and the Sharingan I hate few characters more than I hate Sasuke. I have no time for his character at all, and his direction is the only part of the manga I dislike. He's a two-dimensional character, with boring, repetitive jutsu and unexplained powerups. Any chapter with his absence is a good chapter. I loved Itachi's twists, though. Very Snape-like. I hated Itachi to begin with, but since the backstory came out, I really enjoyed the sidestory of the Uchiha Massacre. Kishmoto wrote Itachi's character wonderfully, and it irks me to no end that Sasuke is tearing down everything that Itachi died for. I also liked Danzou's story. It's easy to relate to. I don't agree with the methods he chose, but he did what he believed best in. He deserved a better death than what he had, and the only part I hated about him was that he had a bajillion Sharingan. The Sharingan continues to piss me off, too. It exists for no other reason that to give moronic powerups to characters who don't deserve them. Kakashi would be a hundred times cooler without one. I'd much rather have the Byakugan. On Sakura Every time she's onscreen I have to ask myself if Kishi is trolling us, or if he genuinely thinks people like her xD

Favourite Manga dat boi	Really nice post, ReLoaded. I agree with it for the most part; the part I disagree with most is that I actually liked Naruto more in Part 1. I liked seeing a main character who wasn't always the strongest, and who constantly had flaws to deal with. I still like him now, though. Just not as much. And in regards to the Sakura thing, this is probably what's been going on in Kishimoto's head: "Wow, Sakura's really starting to get annoying. I should probably make her do something interesting... Ahh, forget that! She's no fun to write." I think he mentioned once that he thought Sakura was ugly. Maybe he can't stand writing a strong female lead who's ugly. Who knows.

I thought the first part of Shippuden was really good. We got to see everyone change after the time skip, Deidera and Sasori were cool and it was good to see more Akatasuki members. This was before Sakura became completely useless again and before the Sasuke worship truly began. The war arc has had it's moments though.

Yeah, I think Naruto was a far more loveable character in part 1, but strong character development is something that I really love in a series, and hopefully Naruto will develop a relationship with Kurama that lets Naruto's more childish, humourous side, more often. It has taken a more serious note lately. I can agree with it's nice not having a main character who's not always the strongest, but Naruto defintely still has flaws. He's constantly getting more battle-brains, but he's still got the naievety other protagonists like Goku have. I just hope Naruto uses Sage Mode a little more, I think it's one of the best additions to Naruto's arsenal, and I hope KCM doesn't override that too much.
