Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans Posts: 3,294 Group: Member Member #7,044 Joined: December 7, 2011 Gender Male Country United States Favourite Anime Dragonball Z, Avatar	In DBZ this is how the power scale is : Ultimate Gohan>>> SSJ3 Gotenks>>>> SSJ3 Goku However this is it in movie 13: SSJ3 Goku>>> SSJ3 Gotenks>> Ultimate Gohan The only conclusion I could come to is that Goku must have ascertained how to master SSJ3 (like he did with SSJ or some other way). During the Buu saga, neither Gotenks nor Goku had in any way mastered SSJ3. With that in mind mastery of SSJ3 is the only logical explanation excluding the plot induced stuff. So where would Gohan and Vegeta fit in the power scale if they were SSJ3? IMO it would be this: SSJ3 Gohan> SSJ3 Goku>SSJ Vegeta> SSJ3 Gotenks
	We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

Its the only way for him officially. But in movie 13? its an alternate universe anyways, and you already KNOW gokus been training with his son. Not to mention he doesnt really have a strength ceiling thnx to his spiritual training. In movie 13 my guess is that he was just more durable than gohan and that he really couldnt have been that much stronger considering they had to find hirudegarns weak spot first. Weve seen his monkey super punch, but dragonfist? where did that come from? Another take on an old move whose multiplier is no less than the Hado shinju shin shoryuken itself. But he was definitlry a MSSJ3 in movie 13, which by my estimate would put him just under super buu. your opinion is as good as anyones really.

Toei probably just didn't pay any mind to the gaps implied by Gotenks' power, and thought Goku wasn't that far behind Gohan. Or they just kept their super hax from the Boo Arc.
