Season News and Summary:

Well we knew it would be like this even before the season started. They went 2-14 without the great Peyton Manning. Reggie Wayne, earlier in the season was just brushing the Qb off when he said they'd all do their jobs with or without Peyton. PSH! whatever Wayne, what a bust season you and the Colts had without Manning. Of course this only means Jim Caldwell had to be fired after all because clearly without his start he didn't proved much of anything. Given that the HC only had like a few weeks to find and prepare a new QB. Couldn't you find anyone better than Kerry Collins? I mean the Oakland raiders did it real fast with Carson Palmer and look, now he's probably got the starting job there for year. Even Kyle Boller might've been suitable. Thing that annoys me most about it that you're bringing in a free agent after like half of camp is over and you're not trusting your back up with anything. You really think Curtis Painter is gonna want to play for you after getting dissed like that....he's not and he didn't. Indy should've focused more on the helm position instead of being so calm and cocky.

Positives? Donald brown got some game which we knew sort of, just a matter or getting the carries. I'm glad he got them and proved himself somewhat. Addai just isn't good anymore. So I hope he can accept a back up role coming quickly. Delone Carter is looking like he might've been a great addition as a rookie, Hopefully he gets a start or more carries somewhere if not in Indy. Garcon came on strong in some weeks, Happy to help out the QB situation so I'm glad for him. he almost had his first 1,000 yard season. Only his 4th season and he def will be #1 in years to come. If he has good chem with the QB in next 10 years. He'll be all pro.

Speaking of QB, How can we forget about Manning himself. Is he gone? IS he here? Is he retiring?!?! It's still all up in the air. I think the doctors and his body know best what's best for him and Manning is fantastic at listening to what's going on around him. I think Manning should stay in Indy and if he is still unable to start, then have him as a back-up. he's a master study of the game and he can share that knowledge with any QB coming in as the starter and every QB in the league would want to learn from him. Indy doesn't wanna lose his star because he's an asset in more than one way.

Team Needs: QB, C, DT/NT, CB (DE)

QB-Manning or no Manning, it's risky business with his neck and if that Pick 1 QB is the Future Peyton Manning then how do you turn it down and let it get passed you

C-With Saturday leaving I don't think that Pollak is that great by any means especially not compared to Saturday obviously. Also I really think it's healthy to start off a new Center if a new QB comes in because the sooner the chemistry and trust builds the better. No reason to hold it off

NT-Freeny and Matthis hold the ends but that middle still gets punished. Antonio Johnson is good but I dont know about the rest of the DT's there.

(DE)- Matthis (WHAT A BADASS LOOKING MF) will be a free agent and he might come back but he's def. unappreciated. Freeny isn't going anywhere but isn't he 50(lol) getting hurt like every season? Maybe time to invest a pick or dab in free agency for this in the near future.

First Round Draft Prospect: Andrew Luck

If I was Manning I would want to be traded to a team that's not unbelievably stupid. Everyone wants to talk about how great their WR's are, who made those receivers? MANNING DID. Garcon was someone that was supposed to be average, Wayne was defiantly good but wouldn't be anywhere near what he is without Manning (as we saw this year), etc...I can go on...

I have no problem with them drafting Luck, BUT if Manning is healthy he HAS to start, he hasn't had a bad season in over 10 years lol.

I would want to be traded to somewhere if I was him.

Here's the reality, if Manning is healthy and starts they go the playoffs with a chance to win superbowl, with Luck you have to wait a few years to develop (even though he will eventually be great).

Theyre gonna keep Manning. I heard there was rumors they might wanna trade out of the first overall pick too. I guess they have a lot of confidence in him and that hes healthy still if that has any truth at all.

I think theyll keep Manning and still draft Luck

Well they've got so many scenarios on what to do. I mean Manning isn't going to lose sleep over losing Caldwell but he doesn't have is ever so savy Jeff Saturday.

If Andrew Luck comes in I think it would be best. New QB, New Center, New coaching, new start to a great team that will, probably, in a years time or so be great again.

SO if we were to picture Manning being traded AND healthy enough to start anywhere....where would he go? He's not the type of guy who will want a commanding hrd nosed Coach either. I think he's gonna want a more laid back sort. Plus with this new draft class of QBs where would Manning be suited to go when teams are trying to focus on their new prospects.

I think Tennessee and Jacksonville actually makes sense as much as you (Majincooler) might hate the idea but Idk what Hasselbecks contract is like and Locker, I think is still a question. Chiefs might want him if Orton isn't capable. Redskins have been in the talk but honestly I don't think it'll happen. Mike Shannahans just a loser to me sometimes. Is Buffalo committed to Fitz now? What if manning went there and faced Brady twice a season. I'm just throwing out random places but I can't think of one real solid place that needs Manning right now I'm sure anyone would want him though. Seahawks? lol

Indy wont trade him within their division if they have one ounce of sense in him. You don't give a team in your division a key to beating you lol.

I would send him to NFC, maybe Seattle, or even Minnesota (Ponder kinda sucks).

This would be real sad though. I rather stick with Ponder honestly unless I thought Manning could give me a superbowl run. They still only have one good receiver on that team and quite honestly. My god what a division that would turn into. It'd be Mayhem. Rodgers-Packers, Cutler-Bears, Stafford-Lions is already so competitive that adding in Manning with Vikings would drive me nuts

I like Ponder, I know he didn't have a great end but seriously he's not bad. The dude had McNabb come in when he was drafted so he's been under-appreciated already. I really think I see Brees if things go well with him. Having a healthy AP is always a plus. Joe Webb....for some reason to me is the kind of guy I'd want to punch in the face. idy, just is :p

NFC West with Seahawks would be the place to go if Carroll doesn't screw it up. Every other team is sort of invested in who they have. Even if they aren't the best

They need help everywhere pretty much except DE and TE. DBs are mediocre at best and That little fat Gary Bracket is getting old finally. They a lot of help on the Oline as well.

I'll give you this though. After watching him and seeing what he did when Ponder went down

I think he deserves a starting role chance

Oline better be all over the COlts agenda regardless if they go for Manning or Luck as their future or both. The entire O-line needs to start a mesh

Maybe theyll shock the world and take Matt Kalil

He is very good and could be top pick material any year that doesnt involve the name Andrew Luck.

I remember watching him in highschool and being blown away by how good of technique he already had.

His brother is pretty good too :P
