Ok this group called anonymous is popular online. They have been talking about many things for awhile. On youtube many people seem to love anonyous. During the PSN hack I never seen so many anti sony fans. Everyone loved sony but when it got hacked by Anonymous people started to agree with it. Also they hacked this site called stratfor and people seem to say well it is his fault for his credit card being hacked he is probably lying. Then another person said the news was lying and said anonymous only goes after the rich. I don't know much about these guys to be honest and I am not sure to like or dislike them. Are these guys good or bad? Someone please tell me more about them. |

I like the activist sections of anonymous for the most part, but there's still countless morons who join in just so they can hide behind a Guy Fawkes mask and feel special. Either way they stand up for freedom and I'm pretty sure everyone can agree with that. Also... do not become their enemy, many of them are rather malicious. I love Anon. I love the message they're putting out. lolssec on the other hand, I admire their activism but stealing consumer's credit card details just to make a point is the wrong approach. |

Irony alert, I'd never heard of them until now. They sound like people that shouldn't be messed with. I agree with them as long as they don't endanger any lives they should and I'm sure they will continue to broadcast their message. |

Anonymous is hard to describe. When people refer to anonymous, they are usually referring to the people who browse the imageboard 4chan, specifically its random section known as /b/. Anonymous are faceless. They are a mass of people who use computers, and have no set "username". Some of them are terrible people, and some of them are good people. They are not an organized group, like lolssec. They post something to 4chan saying that they should do "x" or hack "y" or whatever, and some choose to follow, some don't. Some of them are skilled hackers, and some of them are bored 12 year olds. 4chan is HUGE, so you can't really describe anonymous. However, I do agree with their rebellion against SOPA. |

No one is ever truly anonymous. There is not such a thing as full anonymity on the internet. Everything you do leaves a foot print of some sort. Does anyone really think that some guy who is really good at hacking is better than a group of people with unlimited funds to track down the hackers? I think not. |

That is one of anonymous biggest problems. Some of those guys think they can do anything and not be caught. "OMG WE ARE LEGIT AND WE ARE BEAST. We cannot be caught!" They end up messing up and getting caught. Still scary to think some people on youtube agree with these guys getting credit cards. They can protest SOPA but hacking FB and Credit Cards is just not good. |

Anonymous is just a name given to a right activist among the internet, I despise the random idiot that join, but there are serious groups concealed among anonymous and I honor them for standing up for our rights. I feel that without anonymous and their actions against SOPA/PIPA, we'd be censored right now. They scared the government with their take down of major sites[FBI etc.] and their interruption of Oprah's show. This group can be very malicious and doesn't hesitate to attack a site who goes against them but all in all, they're pretty cool. Heads up: There are probably tons of typos. I apologize for any inconvenience reading this XD |

At first I thought they were attention grubbing trolls. But I found out I actually agree with the things they do and hope they continue the effort. |

Exactly if it wasn't for them we probably wouldn't have DBZF. They way it was worded would have ended the site because we have links to other sites who might have illegal links lol. I understand the foundation of PIPA [to end piracy] but they worded it so badly that the internet we have all came to love so much was at near extinction. |
