Poor planning, Nicktoons doesn't really care, and the fact that Nicktoons isn't ready for the Faulconer!!!

Maybe they didn't want to encourage childhood obesity by showing Majin Buu in a positive light.

They aren't showing it because Toei/FUNimation paid them to put on GT instead, knowing that the only way GT would ever see the light of day in syndication was if they paid a huge amount of cash for someone to play it on their station, or if some hardcore GT fan existed somewhere and had their own network.

This.
Seriously stay away from question threads unless you know what you're talking about : /
Technically they have had Faulconer on the channel (the movie intros).

And then they watch the Buu saga and realize that GT makes even less sense.

Actually I think that's a small percentage. It seems like a lot of the kids who have seen Kai on Nicktoons have gone out and watched the Buu saga.
Kids are pretty smart.

At least they're showing the DBZ movie Fusion Reborn before it. It's not the Buu saga, but it has some key elements from it.

I was surprised they aired that nearly uncut. Yeah they aired the Toonami version so hitler was cut out and they made their own edit of zooming in on the middle finger scene.

Thank you, I mean when I first got into Kai, I checked to see whatever I could learn about Dragon Ball.

When kids see something they don't understand in their tv shows, they go on the internet.

That's true -- I remember when Cell wasn't even in his perfect form and I already knew about Fusion and the different stages of Buu (though I didn't know what order) and Baby and Super 17. I didn't quite comprehend the villains for the final saga, but I DID watch the Super Saiyan 4 fusion scene.

Quite untrue. Nicktoons treats Dragon Ball like a gem. Between the marathons every 2 days and the movies, they both care about the show, and they can handle Faulconer.

I was subscribed to those Beckett magazines that revealed basically everything before it had even gotten close to showing in the States, but back then I was way too young to actually realize what any of it meant. I wish I still had those, though. :(
