Tim Tebow; The Man Who Could Never Be A Professional QB; How He's Proved Everyone Wrong

Denver already set him put to fail once. I think because of his personal success they have to keep playing him next year. If not every time their next QB screws up it'll be the same story. "TEBOW!" and let me say I can't blame the fans. Because they bitched about him not getting to play, he got his chance and now they're deeper than usual in the playoffs.

Also don't say someone can't be consistent when you haven't even seen them play a full season, or even get training camp etc. It's naive. He hasn't had the same chance as every other QB in preparation, once he has that he will be complete.

It isnt naive if I say something based on past events and evidence. Many unorthodox quarterbacks have had success when they first start playin, but then the NFL defenses adapt. Also, he's had the same playing tendencies and mechanics basically for years now.

Deeper than usual? I'm suprised they made it into the playoffs. Its been what 5 plus years since they've won the division. Truthfully Tim is just making John Fox look good too taking a team to playoffs his first time head coaching in a new place. It's not like he made very big strides in the playoffs with the panthers for a while.

I'm not evaluating Tim yet as a career qb. I wanna see what he does in the off season and next season. I still have no problem with him as a person and a player trying to succeed

I like him as a person too and give him credit for what hes done but I just dont see him being a franchise quarterback unless he takes HUGE strides in the offseason.

What does that have to do with Tebow? Many past Qb's who were pro style failed after one season, doesn't mean Peyton Manning, Brady, etc wont make it. It is naive.

Main thing right here. Give him a chace to actually prepare for starting. He had success after being thrown to fail, see what he can do with more time.

If he does what he does now (win 8-4; inclusing playoiff win) games, he can play as long as he wants however he wants.

Probably because I don't watch much American football, but I go for the NY Jets :D

Speaking of the NY Jets, I think that system (the one ran last few years not this year) is a perfect place for Tebow if he's traded. They want a running offense with a QB that's clutch.

Speaking of Jets, so much drama again when they aren't winning.

On the subject I don't know how they can make Tebow better with the players around him. I mean normally when you start developing a franchise qb you dedicate your offseasons to him. Picking up pieces like receivers, tight ends and linemen to help his grow and have the tools to succeed. I'm not sure how Tim or anyone new coming in would feeling about how this offense works. I think the receivers they have now have no problem buying into Tim. As far ads rbs they need more healthy one. Moreno as I like him he has yet to have a full season healthy. And macgahee is powerful but not all season long. For all we know Denver decides that tebow has everything he needs and decide to focus on an already great defense. What's left? Prater. You don't get rid of a guy kicking it with his lengths and Accuracy. So I am very curious in how they approach the offseasons. Will it be one sided. Will it be a rebuilding or will they actually find way to make what they have better by helping tebow.

If they're smart they draft a TE and a WR in first 2 rounds. Their O-Line isn't too bad and their defense (as you said) is already pretty great. I think they could pick up another RB off of FA if they wanted. Not too big of a name, but someone else like McGahee for them to split carries.

Moreno, macgahee and ball already make a pretty good committed if you ask me but if they want certain offenses to work as they have they should consider a more prolific rb like maybe forte (if the bears are that dumb) or additions. Someone who can at least be healthy and run well enough to make somethings happen for the whole season. Obviously he doesn't have to be Adrian Peterson but manageable.

They do need a TE. If Fred Davis isn't back with redskins ik say go pick him up De

Could be Champ's last year. If they decide to stick with Tebow and then Champ retires, I imagine they will draft a corner in top 2 rounds. Andre Goodman as a number 1 just isnt good enough.

Who knows how Elway drafts this year. Maybe theyll take the best player available each round and not even draft a QB,HB,WR or a CB. Thats how GB and Pats draft. Works pretty well for them in the long term.

This topic is turning into off season perspectives and analysis. It makes me wanna make a topic for every team in the NFL and do it. Not just the Denver Broncos.

Pookie Powa!

I feel for Tim Tebow, and I am happy that he is doing well. It reminds me when Eli Manning first came onto the Giants. Everyone hated on him so bad because he wasn't Peyton Manning or was his shadow. Eli is a good quarterback, and I don't care what anyone says about him because he is. Under two minutes, Eli kicks *****. Sometimes I did get angry at him in the beginning, but I let him grow and gave him time. I think the same goes for Tim Tebow. I think he will grow into a good quarterback.

Sorry for giving you a thumbs down Vegeta Rules, but I don't like the Jets. >_<
