First off, let me just say that the guy that died was a total prick. He bullied this kid, followed him, wouldn't let the kid run away, etc.

I'm thankful I've never been in this type of situation, but trust me if I thought my life was in danger (have no idea if this is what this kid was thinking) you best believe I wouldn't care whether I knocked someone out or killed them. I learned this shortly after a known rapist broke into my home and tried to rape my sister. She punched him in the face and if she had a gun instead of him being behind bars he would of been 10 feet under.

I do disagree with the death penalty, but I'm not naive enough to think someone who has bad intentions wont kill you if you don't harm them first. The man that attacked my sister had already been to jail once for a long time for rape and assault on another girl, doubt I would have just asked him nicely to leave after he broke into our house.

All that having been said, this case is obviously different. Things to remember though:

*He didn't start the fight
*He tried to avoid it by running away
*He was attacked from behind

Not too sure what i would of done, but if I was scared and had a knife it's hard to know I suppose. Like I said, never been bullied so I don't know the pain lots of students here in America and everywhere else live through every day.

As for the court decision: "Justice is nothing more than the advantage of the strong" -Plato

i have to agree with this, its fight or flight when it comes to survival, and when a bucnh of ***** who COULD kill you over being reckless and stupid jam you into a corner? you do ONE of two things, beg for mercy, or fight.

This kid brings a knife to school for protection, i carry a knife with ME just about everywhere i go, in a worl full of ***** and bullies, ALSO carrying weapons so they can victimize people is all to real.

The kid shouldnt have stabbed him 12 times, but on the flipside you could call this a crime of passion and survival.

Maybe he went crazy and just took all his anger out while all the "bullies" watched, scared now they will become a victim. Bunch of punks.

The kid went overboard, but it was provoked, if YOU make it so that it comes down between who WALKS away? YOU are most DEFINITELY going down.

with that being said? the bully didnt deserve to die, but he honestly brought it on himself.

People need to take repsonsibility for their actions in this world, what him and his buddies did got him killed. If they were adults? his friends would have been charged because he was killed while they were in the commision of a crime.

That is all.
