Could somebody please fill me in on what the Episode of Bardock is. Because I'm a little confuse now because there's also the movie Bardock the Father of Goku.

Ok, The Episode of Bardock movie takes place in the past, (Because Frieza's attack somehow blasted Bardock into the past) and along the way, Bardock trains, makes friends, and turns Super Saiyan to beat the evil Chilled.

It's an OVA like Yo! Son Goku and his friends return!!, I think it's non-cannon.

I'll help you out. ^_^

Bardock: The Father of Goku - a TV special and one of two specials/movies that actually fits into the timeline of DBZ. It is considered canon and tells the story of how Bardock tried to rise up against Frieza and failed.

Episode of Bardock - a non-canon OVA (short episode) that was not made by the original creators of DBZ. It is a what-if scenario where Bardock is sent back in time and faces Frieza's ancestor, Chilled. He turns Super Saiyan against Chilled and defeats him. This OVA was just released and is currently only available in Japanese with subtitles.

 i know its non canon but it should still make for a good story. Maybe its in brolys universe where ANYONE can become a super saiyan?
