Toriyama's most interesting DB as well as DBZ Saga

In my honest opinion, Akira Toriyama's most interesting Saga with constant momentum/consistently engaging saga in DB is the Red Ribbon Arc and DBZ was Buu Saga.

Other Saga's were good as well, but its about the materials which comprises them. Like in Red Ribbon Saga, I like segments including Korin Tower as well as Goku vs Red Ribbon's final confrantations. Those two stand out for me.

For Buu Saga, there were quite a lot of good materials like epic rematches, SSJ3 introductions, Fusion techniques, and some good writings towards the end of DBZ. Characters came full-circle, mainly Vegeta, Mr. Satan as the world-champ, Chou Genki Dama, Buu's reincarnation, and the final episode really preserved Sun Goku's legacy.

Cell was the most enticing for me. That one had crazy concepts like time-travelling, and it had some mystery to it. We were all wondering what the "other" androids were like, and what the hell another time machine was doing somewhere else. Cell's presentation was pretty built-up until we first saw him. Then you get to see the last bad-ass Picollo scene with 17 after finally fusing with Kami. There was a decent amount of time between each one of Cell's transformations, making you wonder (a little bit) if he was going to reach perfection. Then you have the hyperbolic time chamber concept, and Gohan's whole maturing stage. He went SSJ and then finally released his hidden power into SSJ2. FInally, to top it all off, our hero Goku died, ending his journey, and then passing the reigns down to his son, the strongest in the world.

has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it.

Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****.

I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. :D
Now, there's an idea.

I can't really say one for Dragon Ball yet, because I'm currently rewatching it all the way through and I'm only at the beginning of season two.

For DBZ, the most entertaining would have to be the Buu arc. The most epic probably goes to either the Frieza or Cell arc.

I can't decide between four sagas actually, they're all my favorites I guess:

Dragon Ball: Piccolo Daimao & 23rd Budokai

DBZ: Saiyan Saga & Freeza Saga
Every villain is the hero of their own story.
[Power Level List] Dragon Ball - Updated
[Power Level List] Saiya-jin Saga
[Power Level List] Freeza Saga

[Comparative Power List] Cell Saga

Most exciting/interesting for me-

DB - Red Ribbon Army Saga (General Blue Saga the most, but all of it together is great, and I like the ending pretty epic)

DBZ - I guess I'll say the Freeza saga is the most interesting, but they all had some mystery to them, not so much the Vegeta saga though although that's my 2nd fave probably.
