I was just wondering if anyone here goes to anime conventions. If so, which ones have you been to? Do you cosplay? Which conventions do you recommend? I've been to a few and have had LOADS of fun, and I thought it would be cool to know if other DBZ fans go to them as well!

I go to OniCon every year in October. I went to San Japan this year as well. I want to go to Akon and Ikkicon but I need to have money first haha I cosplayed as Rinoa my first time. Now I think I strictly cosplay Cell xD

I have friends who have been to Onicon and San Japan, but until college is over, I try to stick to midwest ones. I've done a few crappy cosplays, but would like to start doing more Dragonball Z ones.

It seems kinda close if your friends can just come over for conventions. I know this past onicon was in galveston rather than houston like usual :/ would be awesome if we could cosplay dbz together though :3

I stopped going to wai-con when I found that supanova had a lot more to offer. These days I kinda take a wait and see approach and find out from friends who go if it is worth going (as I'm particularly picky in what I want to buy)

Posts: 11,612 Group: Legend Member #88 Joined: January 16, 2005	I went to my first convention not long ago and took some pics. It was Youmacon in Detroit, Michigan. I had a blast, but I only did one day because I wasn't expecting or planning to go so I didn't cosplay either but it looked like so much fun and tough at the same time. I met so many people and saw so many characters. I wanna go with friends next time.

Firefox	Theres an convention I'am going to in March. Its called Sunnycon, it is located in the North East of England and I dont live too far from it.. anyways Its going to be awesome because 2 DBZ Voice actors are going to be guests,Vic Mignogna and Colleen Clinkenbeard. I hear DBZ Abridged's MasakoX is supposed to be returning also.
