Masako's Bardock was really deep in the Episode of Bardock. I wasn't expecting that. I mean I know it's not as high pitched as people think, but, her Bardock felt really intense during this OVA. Go Masako!

Sonny Strait's Bardock has evolved, but I wouldn't say it's on the level of Masako's Bardock.
I was really surprised to hear it so deep this time around, but I think I like it more now! A slightly deeper voice fits Bardock's character better, I think. The higher-pitched voice should be for Goku and Gohan only.

I honestly had no idea Sonny Strait was Bardock. :o_O:

 I don't really like Japanese Bardock... it fits for Goku but not Bardock imo.

I get where you're coming from, but does that also apply to the "new" Japanese Bardock. It's QUITE deep, ya might like it if you haven't heard it yet.

 Idk I think I prefer the English Bardock. (NOT HIS PERFORMANCE IN FATHER OF GOKU)
The acting was atrocious in the tv special but he's improved and you can see that during the flashback scenes in Kai.

 Aww...I'm kind of sad. When I saw it last month, I thought Chilled just passed out at the end. I guess he actually died. Even for just a Frieza knockoff, I liked him a lot! I was hoping he would be more than a one-shot character.
