Some Aspects on DBZ that TOEI could have improved upon.

I just felt that there are some aspects that TOEI could have improved upon.

Its obvously not about the voice acting, the music or even the plot, for the former two were top-notch and the latter was related to Toriyama, not TOEI.

One thing was that the Animation. I really feel they could have improved the artistic values or sometimes even the production values on some parts of DBZ. Yes, they do improve greatly, from Saiyan Saga to Buu Saga. I mean, come on, Goku and Vegeta's fights and animations in the Saiyan Saga to Vegeta and Goku's rescue mission of their comrades from Buu's body in the Buu Saga. They were like sky and earth.

Frieza Saga was sloppy at best, not because of the filler episodes, but the way they animated a villain as credible as Frieza so cheap. Even if it was budget, it was stated that Frieza Arc was one of the series peak, so there are no call for TOEI to say budget was limited...

I recommend some episodes which are high-budget, almost on par with the recent anime's out there.
Cell is Complete, Trunks Ascends, Ghosts from Tomorrow, No More Rules, Buu is Hatched, Vegeta's Pride, Evil Kid Buu, Call for Action, and the final episode of DBZ....

Overall, I just feel angry towards TOEI for the inconsistencies in their artistic and animation & production values on DBZ.

There were about six different animation teams from episode to episode, even scene to scene sometimes, so it's to be expected that the quality would vary. The Majin Vegeta-Goku fight is an excellent example of that.

I do wish Toei would've kept the best team or two instead of alternating between great and crap.
