Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans Posts: 3,294 Group: Member Member #7,044 Joined: December 7, 2011 Gender Male Country United States Favourite Anime Dragonball Z, Avatar	Two Main Questions - what do you think his power level was? - Is he the ancestor of Goku, Vegeta, or Broly? I know these questions are purelly speculative but it seems like an interesting topic. I think his power would've been around goku base against frieza and that he was Goku's ancestor.
	We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

In fact, him being Goku's ancestor would fit in with the whole thing of Goku's family having more potential than any recorded Saiyajin. I'm not sure of his power, I think it would have to be above Goku's base PL arriving on Namek. I have no evidence supporting this, I just don't think he'd be weaker than that.

If the original had a child I'm sure the Saiyans would have been keeping track of the descendants.

It would explain how the Son family had such vast reserves of potential and how Goku was always one step ahead of Vegeta. It would give a reason for how Goku and his family could become super saiyans. Vegeta was part of the royal bloodline and Broly had immense power from birth so they already had reasons for their power
