Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	So, after looking at all the Super Saiyan transformations, reading about them, ect., I've come up with this: I feel that Super Saiyan transformations are like evolving backwards. Think about it: In real life, primates are naturally much stronger than your average man. A Super Saiyan transformation is like going backwards, getting closer to Golden Oozaru. ("RAWR RAGE GT DOESN'T COUNT RAWR." I know it's not canon. That's why it says 'theory') Think about it, SSJ1 makes him stronger, but it also brings out his Saiyan instincts and makes him more aggressive. Same with SSJ2, even more so in fact. Then, if you look at SSJ3, he even LOOKS more like a monkey. (Lack of eyebrows, for one.) This all leads up to Golden Oozaru. It is supposedly the most powerful transformation for a Saiyan, and SSJ4 is a suppressed (controllable) form of Golden Oozaru. Does this make sense? These are just my thoughts, so don't go trolling around like "YOU'RE DUMB RAWR WIKIPEDIA QUOTE RAWR."

I don't think Toriyama knew that there was a Golden Oozaru form in DB's future, so I don't think it would make much sence to make all the SS forms lead up to it, IMO, the only monkey like forms are Oozaru and SS3, all the forms from SS to SS2, were all like the ruthless Saiyan warriors.

Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	Honestly, even without GT I think a "Super Saiyan" Oozaru would've made sense. Before seeing GT, I always wondered what would happen if a SSJ with a tail transformed...

SSj3 Goten Posts: 300 Group: Member Member #7,017 Joined: November 26, 2011	I kinda see it as evovling forwards with the saiyan race. Think about it. I know SSJ2, 3 werent even supposed to exist, much less 4. But each form was discovered from training almost like there bodies were mutating. then the power being transfered down like with Gohan and Goten. The saiyans were a warrior race and the SSJ transormations after SSJ 1 were the race's evolution into the ultimate fighter.

Not "Evolving backwards towards an average monkey" Please learn to read fully, Mr. Derp. I never stated they evolved in human terms.

Silly versus topics? "The Lonely Fighter" makes sillier topics than I do. Lol I didn't read this fully, I was too busy dealing with some gt fanboy on one of my threads. Still, I lol'ed at the idea of ssj as evolving backwards. Especially since Oozaru is not a regression, it's just a hard to control transformation. Its a transformation natural to their evolution, being able to metamorphose doesnt mean you are regressing anything, it just means you have two forms. A golden oozaru was put into place so that we knew that when he was in golden oozaru form? baby would be almost unstoppable, its like for that short time when superman had to forms? the magic energy form and his human form. He had to transform in order to gain the kind of power he needed. The same with saiyans, in their more natural state they have a wider power spectrum, they are in bigger bodies, go figure. BTW goku didnt go from ssj3 to golden oozaru, he just went oozaru from looking at planet tuffles horizon which messed up his transformation,i believe it was mentioned he was golden cause its possible thats what happens when someone whos reached ssj turns. Its just an indicator of power. We all know goku has no sense when he turns oozaru, so they made him a new form. If he had fought baby as an oozaru? i think he would have won alot easier. So in a way super saiyan 4 is a regressed power state, caught between being human and gorilla. But since goku prefers looking human then he will fight as one.
