Thing is, Gohan couldn't match Perfect Cell (whilst suppressed) as a kid, and it's implied that Dabura's equal to that form of Cell. So, where do you place Dabura?
He was casually dodging Cell's every hit until he raised his speed.

All we know is Dabra was originally implied to be equal to some state of Cell, and then stated to be far above him. We don't know which state though.

For all we know Son was talking about Second Form Cell or Initial Perfect Cell.
But it's more likely he was referring to the Perfect Cell he fought, since he could accurately gauge his power from that. It's also quite possible that the base Saiyans could trump Second Form Cell at that point, unless you have Piccolo gaining next to no strength whilst in the ROSAT.

Well, he gauged Form 2 Cell's power when he rescued Piccolo and Tenshinhan, and he gauged Initial Perfect Cell's power as well, even if he was off when it came to how much power Cell was holding back.

I'm part of the 'Gohan was SSjin2 vs Dabura' crowd now so I say Dabura turns him inside out.

If Gohan was FPSS/MSS, I would say Teen Gohan wins.
If Gohan was SS2, I would say Dabura wins.

I don't think Gohan lost that much strength over the 7 year gap, though. Even if he did he would still be able to easily defeat someone of Semi-Perfect Cell/Initial Perfect Cell's caliber. By my numbers, he'd have to lose at least 70% of his power to be dead even with Semi-Perfect Cell, so it just doesn't work.

Well we know:

Dabra (Estimated) ~ Cell (Some Form)

Dabra (True Power) >>> Cell (Some Form)

So considering that, the Cell Son was thinking of could easily be even Second Form Cell.

I think Initial Perfect Cell is probably the most logical option unless you're going with SSjin 2 Gohan though.

There's no way Dabra can be >>> the Perfect Cell Son Goku fought and still be struggling so much with a rusty Gohan...

Dabura stomps.

MSSJ Kid Gohan <<< Perfect Cell
SSJ2 Kid Gohan < Super Perfect Cell
Dabura is either > or = Perfect Cell

So that means that MSSJ Kid Gohan <<< Dabura

If he was SSJ2, then Gohan would probably win.

I'm also with the people who say that Teen Gohan wasn't necessarily "weaker" than Kid Gohan, he was just rusty due to lack of practice. I don't think that power levels can go down over time unless the character suffers an injury/energy drain/severe lack of practice/etc.

Do you guys think Krillin and Yamcha lost any power over the years they didn't train?

No, i would say not because its already been admitted by the humans that training is necessary to maintain the level of power they can use without getting hurt. So even though theoretically they might NOT lose actual power? but the ability to use it.

Yamcha definitely did,Krillen kept light training over the years with 18 so I wouldn't seen him getting weaker.

It was never stated that Yamucha stopped training, except in Anime filler.

Yamucha is implied not to train anymore either IMO. He never enters another tournament, and never seems to be implied to be keeping up. Only Tien probably trains anymore IMO... And the only reason he trains is because he has that sick Kikoho...

Honestly, no, I don't really think so. I think they stayed at the level they were when they stopped training. If they resumed training, they could probably pick back up at where they had left off pretty quickly.

This whole debate is whether you think Gohan was a SSJ or SSJ2. One of the toughest debates around.

Gohan is drawn as a SSJ, and is one for me that's as simple as it gets. Dabura should be weaker than MSSJ Goku from the Cell Games by a good margin IMO..

Hey P do you think it's possible Gohan lost like half of his power? I'm beginning to convert to the Base Vegeta > Pui-Pui > Kaioshin > SSjin 2 Gohan logic and that's like the only way that could happen.

Hell, in real life if you don't train for 7 years you'll be a complete weakling no matter how strong you originally were...
