Green day....Nu Metal? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IcEMdmASxc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUeWZoyGlAM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li4L1Iyasok "Nu Metal"......hmmm going by the kind of stuff you've named....Deftones (I'm actually a fan of them in fact) System of a Down although they have more of a political nature Early Sum 41 albums Killswitch Engage Skindred Adversary Lost Prophets Chimaira Atreyu Flyleaf Machine Head Eh you might wanna try some hardcore like Terror pretty much the heaviest band on the face of the planet. Pretty hit and miss most of these bands I haven't listened to for years, some I never ever liked so don't know much about them. edit: Also Shiinedown edit: I mean Shinedown Edited by TrunksinSwimmingTrunks, Dec 16 2011, 03:45 AM.

System of a Down is a great band. Whether they truly are "nu metal" or not (they've been lumped in the category before), they are true originals and I highly recommend them. Toxicity is their most highly acclaimed album. |

Most bands ever referred to as Nu metal don't refer to themselves as Nu metal I think. |

I don't know that all of these are Nu Metal, but I like all of the bands you listed, and I also like these. You might as well: Breaking Benjamin, RED, Atreyu, Sick Puppies, Dead by April. I can't remember any others off the top of my head. I like heavier music, too. I'll list those if you want. |

You would probably like Rage Against the machine, which is the closest thing to Nu Metal I will ever listen to |

Linkin Park Limp Bizkit System of a Down those are three bands that I used to listen to during the golden age of Nu Metal. 2000-2005, for me was the best era for this style of music. |
