Vegeta doesn't let him transform. Who wins?

Vegeta wins he was even with Freeza when Freeza was maxing his 1st form, which is why Freeza had to transform into his 2nd form to beat him.

Vegeta was still confident about winning even after being even with him in that little powering up struggle, so was most likely above Freeza's 1st form.

Frieza defeats Vegeta (at Frieza 1). Vegeta felt that he, Gohan, and Krillin had a chance to take Frieza, but, on his own, he was at a disadvantage.

Aside from being goaded into it, Frieza transformed purely for aesthetic reasons. He had no reason to believe that Vegeta and co could take him (he could not sense ki, and he was victor of the grapple scene).

Vegeta felt that he needed to fight with Gohan and Krillin because he somewhat knew Frieza's true power(the fact that he can transform). Vegeta was even with Frieza first form and didn't need Gohan and Krillin's help. If he did, he would have told them to start fighting, which he didn't. If he wasn't even with Frieza's first form, Frieza would've killed him because he was still outraged over the loss of the dragonballs.

Vegeta struggled in that grapple. Frieza was composed the entire time. Vegeta would have died fighting alone.

Frieza lost his composure when his scouter broke after reading vegeta's power level. THAT's why the grapple ended; not because vegeta was struggling, just the opposite

[Frieza and Vegeta hug each other]

Vegeta's all tired face.
And Frieza's all like, "He thinks he can hang...?  rofl, but still :@ "

Frieza's gonna kill 'im!  Frieza's gonna kill 'im!  Frieza's gonna--Frieza's gonna--Friez'as gonna kill 'im!

I say Freeza wins.

Firstly Vegeta is tired from the grapple, Freeza isn't (Thanks for the pics above)
Secondly Vegeta and Gohan both say they can win if they fight together, not alone, and Gohan didn't know Freeza can transform
And lastly, I don't even believe Freeza was at his full power there, he powers up a few seconds later

Hey GohanZ, do you think Frieza 1's max battle power is known throughout his empire? He tells Nail his max power, Zarbon knows that he can transform, Jeice knows Ginyu's max power (a little less of a point, but still a point), and, iirc, Ginuy states that he (himself), Frieza, and Goku can raise and suppress power.

If Vegeta knows Frieza's max, then I would think that Vegeta accounted for it. I'm not sure if it can be dug from the manga that it is so; it can be implied; although, not inferred.

I don't have a clue. Vegeta didn't even know he could transform so I wouldn't call it crazy to assume he didn't know Freeza's max.

Vegeta asked for Gohan's and Krillin's assistance because he thought that Frieza's transformation would be only one, and in the same leagues in terms of power of Zarbon's, he never knew that Frieza could double more than his power, he thought that...:

Zarbon: 22.000
Monster Zarbon: 28.000

Frieza 1st form: 530.000
Frieza 2nd form: ca. 750.000?
