I think they are the racist party. Now remember the civil war. well after it end the DEMO's started the kkk. also in the 60's MLK was a republican. I am not mexican or black but i am telling you that the democratics are the real racist. republicans were never racists. it is all a lie! so that is my proof that the party is racist. you can now debate.

With policies which would restrict the rights of minorities and certain religious groups. I.E the BNP and UKIP. However, the democrats are not racists and nor are the republicans. A racist party would discriminate against non-white christians and try to pass legislation related to their bigoted views. I don't see that happening in either party.

UKIP aren't racist, misconseption there, they get banded in with the BNP and the like in an attept to discredit them, they don't as a party have policies to restrict the rights of any group, their aim is to withdraw the UK from the EU, are there racists in UKIP? Probably, but name a party that doesn't? UKIPs members are from a wide number of backgrounds because of the main issue of the Europe Union. Not sure where you got the idea the UKIP was racist from though, I know it's used in an attempt to discredit them but it's pretty much nonsense from the things I have read.

Hence when the Democrats started to move against segregation more the States' Rights Democratic Party ran in 1948, winning just a few Southern States, and in 1968 George Wallace ran in the American Independent Party(but George Wallace was a former Democrat who was pro-segregation and had run as a Democrat 3 times in the past). So when MLK supported the Republicans over the Democrats the parties were basically reversed, and the Democrats were in the process of changing.
