definitely old kaioshin. the man is millions of years old, you know he either knows or knows of a multitude of techniques that goku and the others wouldn't even dream of. besides, it only takes 25 hours to unlock my dormant ability, and hang out with the ssj3s and fusions. with a boost like that, and the amount of knowledge both in ki and magic that he has, I'd bet you money i could at least match goku after seven years.
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

for those that blindly follow word of god

Have him unlock your potential every day and for 2 days in the RoSaT to get an extra 2 years out of it.

It'd be Videl. I'd love to be with her for 7 years.

Seriously though it be Trunks as he'd be the coolest to train/hang out with for 7 long years.

I'd train with Piccolo, since he was such a good trainer to Gohan and just seems like the best teacher to me

Popo. I do not need to be this uner being. I could learn a lot from him, and he has proven to be able to adapt to different styles by teaching Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yajirobe. He also knows a great deal of the history of the planet. Can't go wrong with him IMO

hm why is Gohan so picked,I mean he is good guy and the training will be easier, but you won't be as trained as good as if you trained with Piccolo/Goku/Vegeta
Let me just say that if any human from the real world actually tried to train seriously with one of the Z Fighters they would probably go insane from the difficulty. The only way anyone could survive is if whichever fighter they were working with took it ridiculously easy on them.
