IMO? vegeta saw it as a race and also wanted to know if his hand to hand had improved any either. Which it had, gokus biggest compliment to him really. Dont get me wrong, vegeta is well withing range of killing goku with the madoshi charm, but his boost from it was bigger than realized. He was disappointed in gohan and was emabrrassed when goku returned that he coulodnt motivate gohan to train hard. So he went by himself and broke TWO x500 gravity machines. Gohan could have REALLY benefitted from that. Instead the access to his hidden power had waxed and waned and vegeta had passed him up. The gap between kid gohan and teen gohan is too big. Im even gonna assume his mssj is probably down to goku cell games level as well. One of the reason why his power up against dabura didnt mean much. Didnt put much fear into anyone did it? Kid gohan would have had dabura needing a diaper at full power. From Gohan's display against Dabura; it's implied he's equal to MSSJ Goku (Cell Games). Dabura is = Perfect Cell (suppressed against Goku) and he had a little advantage over Gohan, much like Cell had over Goku.

MoZZila	SSJ2 Goku = Majin Vegeta > SSJ2 Vegeta > SSJ2 Kid Gohan > SSJ2 Teen Gohan I don't think Vegeta would show up at the tournament at all if he wasn't convinced that he is stronger than SSJ2 Kid Gohan And SSJ2 Kid Gohan at halved kid managed to hold off SPC for quite some time until Vegeta distracted him and Gohan finished SPC off SSJ2 Kid Gohan : 100(50 with halved ki) SSJ2 Vegeta : 120 SPC : 60 Considering how Vegeta's final flash even when he was ALOT weaker than Cell would have obliterated him if he didn't dodge,now that he is stronger he will probably toy around with him for a minute just for fun and then blast him off easily,something like he did to Pui Pui just that Cell will put up a bit better fight but nothing special

But enuff to satisfy vegetas suspicion of gokus power BEFORE accepting the madoshi charm. A charm which gave him a bigger multiplier than most believe. Goku wasnt so MUCH more than kid gohan at full strength. The madoshi charm turned two ignorant fools who couldnt fight into >>raditz and possibly vegeta saga vegeta. It gives a hell of a boost. HELL NO,if they were Spopovich would have accidently killed Videl,they were just a bit above Videl,and had stamina boost,she actually had advantage over Spopovich in the start of the fight because she was alot better fighter and wasn't injured yet Vegeta >= Kid Gohan SSJ2,he wouldn't even bother showing up at tournament if he knows he can't get past Gohan... And even if he is a bit under Kid Gohan,he still is above SPC,and give Vegeta even the slightest power advantage and you are in big trouble Edited by CookieZ, Jan 5 2012, 11:38 PM.

We know from Vegeta's taunting comments that he's unsure of how powerful Gohan is after the 7 years when Gohan comes to visit him, yet he is confident in beating him at the tournament. Goku cuts in and says he's entering, and Vegeta is elated, even after Goku says he has improved quite a bit. This automatically puts Vegeta at least a little above Goku's power from the Cell Games, which wasn't leagues behind Gohan's itself. When Gohan transforms in front of Kibito, Toriyama shows us through comments that that's the first time Vegeta realizes Gohan's true power at the time. What does this mean? It means he was confident in facing Gohan, despite not knowing if Gohan lost any power over the 7 years. This is a clear indicator that he is at least very close to Kid Gohan's power, if not equal to or surpassing it, which myself and a few others think is the most likely case. Later on, Vegeta explains that he expected Goku to have surpassed Kid Gohan's power. But remember, he was confident in facing Goku earlier. Taking this into account, it heavily implies Vegeta had surpassed Kid Gohan's power before Babidi possessed him, just not by too much. So, for me: Gohan ~ 100 Vegeta ~ 115 Goku ~ 160 Edited by Pyrus, Jan 6 2012, 03:53 AM.
