vegeta had to get the majin powerup just to be equal to goku but could ssj2 vegeta beat ssj2 goku if he had ssj2 adult gohan by his side? goku cannot use instant transmission. goku is not trying to kill them but knock them unconscious. vegeta and gohan are bloodlusted. its ssj2 goku vs sj2 vegeta and ssj2 adult gohan

Lolwut. Goku stomps them both hard. Vegeta swallowed his damn pride to catch up to Goku ffs, and he was stronger than Teen Gohan.

But it's two on one. While two vs 1 don't make a difference if the PL difference is big enough, over here it's not extreme. Goku would get stomped into oblivion.

Ignoring PL's, lets say we rated Goku a 10/10 at SSJ2. Majin Vegeta would be a 10, so I would say SSJ2 Vegeta is a 9. I would put Gohan at an 8.5. I think as long as someone is 7 10ths as strong as the stonger enemy, they can at least hope to damage him with their most powerful attack.

So imo 9 and 8.5 together > 10 pretty well. I think Goku would be able to hold them off for a while though, it wouldnt be a godstomp. Hed have to play a lot of defense though and wouldnt dish out a lot of hurt,

I think Goku might be able to do it actually. Goku was stronger than Gohan vs Cell, which this Gohan is weaker than (by a decent margin imo). Vegeta knew that he wasn't strong enough to take Goku without the Majin power up, which I think was significant. I think there was a big enough gap between them for Goku to do it. As we know, 2 weaker opponents generally can't take 1 stronger opponent (unless that opponent is called Raditz).

Goku wins. Gohan stated he wasn't as strong as he was as a child, and Vegeta needed the Majin boost to catch up to SS2 Goku.

Goku SS2 > Vegeta SS2 (Pre Majin) > Adult Gohan SS2.

goku stomps. gohan is out of practice and weak. he'd only get in the way. vegeta simply doesn't have the power to fight goku, and neither does gohan.
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

Vegeta swallowed his pride and sold his soul to Babidi to get enough power to catch up to Goku. He states the difference is the same as it was at the Cell Games, which was at the very least a 30% gap (I have it 40-50%). Gohan is rusty and even weaker than Vegeta. There's no way the both of them are winning against a freshly trained, more powerful Goku.

Gohan: 10
Vegeta: 11.5
Goku: 17

That puts Goku a full 70% stronger than Gohan, which is one-shot territory, and Vegeta's not that much better off being at a 47% disadvantage. You can play with the percentages a bit, but they shouldn't be that far off from what I've got here, unless you take Piccolo's statement to absolute heart, although I feel that directly contradicts what's said, but whatever.

I'm damn serious

I think Gohan and vegeta lose after a long but relatively easy fight for Goku.

Gohan-75
Vegeta-90
Goku- 100

Chapter: 458 (DBZ 264), P10.3-4, P11.2-3
Context: as Goku and Vegeta fight
Goku: “Un-unbelievable…I thought I trained considerably in the afterlife…But we’re completely even…You trained more than me…”
Vegeta: “…No, that’s not it…I think I did perform more special training than you, but you’re a greater genius than I am…No matter how much time passed, this gap wouldn’t change…I realized this, when yo-you fought with that monster Babidi sent…It was a shock…That’s why I secretly resolved myself…”
Vegeta: “Yeah…At the tournament, the people who knew that pair who Babidi made into his underlings said that they had become far stronger than before…I remembered that, and I thought…That if I were taken over by him too, then the gap between you and me would vanish…And I was right…”
