It would have been totally stupid to have Vegeta go SS2 at that time. Also at the time the Cell Games arc was made the form was supposed to be exclusive to Gohan and connected to his rage boosts which Vegeta never had. |

Yeah SSJ2 didn't exist in the Cell Games it was just Gohan with all his power released as a SSJ. Plus SSJ2 Cell games Vegeta wouldn't be that far ahead of MSSJ Goku and MSSJ Gohan if you use the SEG multipliers. |

Being a Vegeta fan, I can't say I dislike the idea but, it would of altered the story completely. I don't think Gohan should of been as powerful as he was as well. If they were to make Vegeta go SSJ2 and fight and beat Cell, the would have to do somesort of mini sags showing Gohan's rage/SSJ2. Like maybe making Broly a short saga instead of movies or something. |

Yeah I think that moment was made for Gohan. If anything Vegeta should have gotten the SSJ3 transformation. That one was just made for him! |

How would it fit though? Wasn't he dead when Goku finally reached it? And he didn't have a body in the afterlife so he couldn't train. |

What would Vegeta have even done? The multipliers going to be the same no matter what you think it is unless you believe people get random multipliers for their transformations. Heck, at least Gohan has the arguable excuse of getting a rage boost on top of his SSj2 transformation. Vegeta could go SSj2 all he wants, the outcome is going to be the same. Vegeta's going to get his a** kicked, Cell just going to have to put in a slight bit more effort than usual. Unless you somehow think that SSj Vegeta (Already significantly weaker than MSSJ Goku Pre-full power) can somehow jump all the way up to SPC and SSj2 Gohan's level. |
