Chrome Favourite Manga Berserk	A lot of us keep saying your not afraid (like what you typically hear from bad-ass characters), but I would like to point out that it is unwise to be fearless of the unknown. Deep down we're all a bit anxious, it's impossible not to be. Nonetheless, all that time we hadn't been born yet is probably a good indicator of what it is like to be dead (in that there is no recalled feeling or experience, we can't fully comprehend it). People from some religions will probably be scared by the possibility of going to hell. Most others are scared of leaving whatever they have in life I guess, or scared of how they will die. I think some people with time might end up being scared of not fulfilling the potential of their life/reaching their goals, but that would most likely come later on. As in some people want their story to end completed, not half-written.

Well some of us probably fear when it's going to happen, and how. Death it's self, I don't fear it. It's something that we cannot stop, I can't sit here all day wondering when will it happen lol.

Saw a lot of tombstones of young children which was a creepy thing to see. Dying a painful way is probably the only thing that is higher up than death itself for me personal. I see that I'm going to die eventually and that no longer bothers me. Though the fact that I'm never returning(tried believing in reincarnation...wasn't for me) again keeps gnawing at me and I feel more now than ever before that I should leave some sort of mark however significant it may be behind. At least with that I could die in some sort of peace of mind even though I won't be thinking anymore.

What I mean is through something that causes pain before dying, if it's quick and painless, it's not scary, slow and painless probably wouldn't be bad either, I suppose I'm just scared of the pain. I am scared about others close to me dying though.

There's no point in being scared that's bound to happen to all of us someday. Sure it's not a nice thought but, you have to live with it. That's why instead of thinking about death, live your life to the fullest. Forget death and let it happen at your its own pace.

We fear death because it is something so mysterious, that mankind throughout history has not found an answer as to what comes after life. We are afraid of the unknown !
