It seems that most of Gohan's recovery strengths weren't noticeable at all; Gohan's only possibly noticeable Zenkai is from Nappa(?) against Vegeta on Earth. It can be debated that Vegeta's power lowered just that after eating Goku's Kamehameha and creating the false moon, but would you really put Vegeta in Gohan's ranks afterwards. Yajirobe was certain that Vegeta would still stomp he, Krillin, and Gohan easily. Some members believe that Gohan simply can not receive sporadically large Zenkai for some reason or another; here me out. Proposition Kid Gohan's rage IS Kid Gohan's zenkai. His Frieza Saga rage fits easily doubled to quintupled strength. I mean, Gohan had his neck broken by Recoome, and when recovering, he was still around as strong as Krillin... ??? And yet he has rage fits that carry him from being stomped by a Vegeta who's not confident in fighting the weakest form of Frieza alone to gaining ground on a Frieza who is more than twice as strong as the prior. Proposition Gohan accesses his the bulk of his power increases from Zenkai when he becomes enraged. What? Edited by Kruegs Outlandish, Oct 13 2011, 05:32 AM.

Or maybe, I did say the bulk of Zenkai, you know, since Gohan seems to at least get somewhat stronger after severe beatings.

Could explain where all that power come from; a bit of Zenkai power buried for a good 4-5 years. Rage at Cell Games didn't raise his power, but caused his SSJ2 transformation instead.
