Coming week is really important. If 49'rs play at home against Saints in playoffs they might win, if they have to go to New Orleans they might as well save their flight money and take the loss.

Exactly, no one wants to go into the dome for a Playoff game. It might not happen though if the Lions face off against the Saints. They have a chance to knock them off. 9ers would rather see the Lions than the Saints even though both have great offenses. Lions are in a first time playoff run so it's unsure how they'll play. Saints vs Packers NFC Championship matchup doesn't look like it'll be denied. The chance lower if the 9ers get that 2nd seed though.

Saints lost to the Seahawks last year. I expect the Packers to get upset in a similar fashion.

That's a possibility. I expect to see at least one upset this year whether or not it's from the NFC is unknown. Ravens could also be upset by the Steelers(don't care if they beat them twice Flacco is a liablity imo)

Is he the comeback player of the year?

Figured that would definitely go to Reggie Bush. Or is that for someone who didn't play at all last year?

Thanks, Alex Smith will probably take it. Reminds me when Pennigton won it in 2006 & 2008. Hopefully he can continue to improve on this season. 9ers and Alex Smith shouldn't expect next year to be a easy.

Doubtful, others are ahead of him but I wouldn't rule it out. He's having he's best year ever and is finally living up to he's hype(probably not but close to it). 1000 yard season? Who though Reggie could do that a few years ago? A lot has to do with him fitting with the Dolphins system and their need to have a RB take control of the game with Henne and Co. being on a leash as far as Quarterbacking goes. Add that up with him trying to prove he can be a every down back(which I always believed he could be).

I honestly appreciate teams like the 9ers a lot more nowadays. Doing the things their doing in a QB driven league. More D's need to emulate that team as well as Steelers and Ravens. It's getting ridiculous lately QB's make 500yds and 5Tds look like nothing.

Yeah, I like the defense-first football. I'm a devils fan which is a defense-first hockey club..so things are coming full-circle :) Alex Smith is also one of the best QBs in the league. He looks like a 1st round 1st pick QB

lol he is a first round QB. So the talent to be a great QB is there he just(finally) got the coaching and development he deserves. Mike Nolan and co. never did good for him. 9ers should go after Norv Turner as a OC next year. He's never been a HC but a fantastic Offensive coordinator and a QB developer. Get that and a good draft and 9ers look to be locks for their division for the next 5 years. We'll see though.

^Saints win by at least 10 in that one.

The interesting matchup this week is Broncos VS. Patriots. Can Tebow play well again? Will he bust on the biggest stage? Can't wait to find out. Oh, and Giants VS. Packers should be one to see.
