That's right they did lose that HARBOWL and got played. If they can't beat the Ravens in that game they won't be able to beat them, in the Superbowl if you think they're going that far. That game was ok not great. I mean come on, the first half they ad how many points?> that's right.....Harbaugh came up with a game plan and managed to get it going later on . They shut down Steve Jackson and Sam Bradford from gettin going otherwise it wuda been a game. DO I have to remind you buddy that this is the NFC West we are talking about? the Loser division where you could get in being 9-7, 7-9, 8-8 and so on...Rams aren't the stellar Superbowl winners they were a decade ago when Kurt Warner and Marshall were around. Easy 6 games. The real evaluation is from the rest of the schedule. |

What are you talking about? EVERYTHING was against the Niners in that game. We were on a shortweek (We just played sunday) We flew three time zones We played the Ravens at home(Who IIRC are undefeated at home) And FYI, AFC Has worse teams in it than the NFC West does. So, you best step off when referring to the NFC West as "NFC WORST" Also, Harbowl was so close it doesn't matter. Alex Smith has plenty of time to harden himself for the superbowl. It wasn't a matter of "OH THEY GOT BLOWN OUT" It came down to a bad throw. That was it, if you watched the game Also, Joe Flacco's a moderately better QB than Alex Smith who is having his first DECENT year.

I'm actually an NFC sort of guy BUT obviously when it comes to the Ravens I'm clearly a homegrown fan. That's not what I'm talking about at all though but I'm not steeping off anything. NFC West is the NFC's WORST division. So let's be Clear, you wanna compare Ravens to 49ers right now this season? ALrighty then I'll do your team first, hmmm okay so they're 10-2. That's great.....Hmmmm the other teams in your division which you have to face twice meaning they make up 6 weeks of your 16week schedule are all having losing seasons. You wanna brag about beating a team that's 2-10? Lame. How about a real team like the Ravens? oh wait you lost to them. The only playoff team the San Francisco team has faced is the Ravens and the Cowboys, both which the Niners have lost to. Wild card teams you could maybe consider Giants and Lions but really they're not solid consistent teams right now. Lions get flustered so easily because everyone's so young and emotion even the damn coach isn't poised after a win or loss. Giants can't figure out who they are or what they wanna do. They'll show up against the Packers and barely beat them but when it's some other random team they'll barely make it out alive. Arizona narrowly won against them. Speaking of Arizona, what a lucky week last week. Cowboys are such busts coming into the playoffs, they're not poised and ready to take a title yet. They could get a single point for most of last week. And with 20 seconds left and 2 time outs. you couldn't just run another play or two for that kicker you they also iced. WHat a poor outing for the cowgirls. Ahem...back on the Niners however, let's get specific with the Ravens game...I'm not sure why in the world you're talking about the offensive as if your games have been anything about a stellar offense. You have Vernon Davis, Frank Gore and ALex SMith managing to make the plays that Harbaugh is setting up for him. None of the WR are great at all. Not Crabtree, not Crotchery, not Edwards ro Morgan and whoever else you think you have. If I didn't do fantasy I wouldn't even know these names and that's how no-name the Niners offense is. It's all Gore and Vernon Davis. The Defense is the story. Joe Flacco is having a good year I'll give you that but again, not sure why you're talking about then offense b/c neither was THAT great. 49ers had some great D on Ray Rice and kept him in check but they were holding so much on the receivers too. Ravens even with Ray Lewis sidelined DOMINATED the Niners on the ground and clearly if Alex Smith was that great he wuda been able to air out some plays but that's not the case. Alex Smith is not great, the Ravens Defense is. He was pressured all day long. Sack city for Terrell Suggs and the entire time Gore was kept under 40ish yards or something lower for him. Nothing was happening for that offense except the mighty Akers kicking a coulpe through the uprights. It was Ravens Defense and the Niners Defense just falling down at the end. Your excuses are short week, times zones and not at home? Those things have very little to do with the actual game when it comes down to 4th quarter performances. Did they not know they would be playing Thursday? I think they did and didn't the Ravens play that same sunday along with 20+ other teams...Yea they did/ Thats a bs excuse. Ravens are undefeated at home because that's just how we prefer to keep things. Not sure about Niner nation, maybe they like losing at home. It didn't come down to a bad throw. It came down to about 60 minutes of fail on Alex Smith and the offense he's supposed to command. Did I mention that the AFC North has 3 teams with winning records? Ravens, Steelers and Cinci. So NOTHING COMES EASY Ravens> 49ers in every way this season |

Man Rebel, you realize that Alex Smith sucks right? Our offense is just starting to produce wins for us.. You must not have watched us the last 10 years. As for my 'weak' excuses. They're not weak. they're FACTS. It's the reason we lost. If we took baltimore on at candlestick they'd of lost. The game wasn't a blow out. The 3 'excuses' factor in, and show. Also uhh.. lol? NFC North has 3 teams with winning records too. And we've beaten One of them. We beat your Bengals. We'll beat the steelers. No one ever said the ravens were bad, I think we'll do better next time we play them in the super bowl Edited by Fulgore, Dec 6 2011, 02:19 AM.

Yes, he sucks. That's what I'm trying to say so you don't glorify the ol' boy. Where the hell did NFC North come from? Of course they're great, THEY'RE NOT THE NFC WEST lol. Yes I realize the Niners used to be an amazing Dynasty back in the 90's but you know what, it's been 20 years. THe last time they even had a winning record was in '02 maybe. Bring on the Superbowl, I'll take Packers vs Ravens or 49ers vs Ravens any day...honestly though we have a few things we have to be bit more strict on. |

That defense is the thing that brought 9ers this far. I have a feeling when Drew or Arod come to town that defense won't look to stellar anymore. I see 9ers winning perhaps the first game but losing in the NFC championship game. Geaux Saints! Who that! |

Hah, someone else with some sense. 49ers won't get far in the playoffs with that passing offense. It's not even close to the old Niners let alone the Pack or Saints offenses. The 49er Offense = David Akers, King of Kickers |

Not sure about that both those guys(Brees, Rodgers) play well against over physical teams. See how the Saints blew out the Giants. Not doubting that if the 9ers win that first round bye(they still need to win the last game) than I can see them go to the NFC championship game. If it's anyone other than the Saints/Packers they face they'll win. Candlestick is gonna be loud and wild for their first playoff game in 5 years(forget the last time they were in a playoffs). I think they'll win one game but I wouldn't at all be surprised if Smith and he's inability to come up big loses them the game. |
