You remember those battle powers for Cooler's Armored Squadron and how nobody could tell if they were official or not? Well, they are, unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you view it. "For years we'd heard rumors via Japanese Wikipedia and other Japanese sites that an issue of Weekly Jump released shortly before DragonBall Z movie 5's premier in 1991 featured battle powers for the members of Coola's Armored Squad. The anime guidebook Son Goku Densetsu confirms that there was an issue of Weekly Jump that displayed Toriyama's character designs for the Armored Squad along with background information on the characters not revealed in the movie (such as the names of their home planets), but it says nothing of battle powers. At long last though, Chinese DragonBall fan Queller tracked down this fabled Jump issue, Weekly Shounen Jump No. 25, 1991. Thanks to him, we now have pictures confirming that the issue's feature on the Armored Squad did in fact include the long-rumored battle powers for them." It can always be explained as Goku being suppressed in his battle with them, and Piccolo holding back in his battle with Salza in order to stall for Gohan. They're stronger than Ginyu, so I'm okay with them for the most part. I'm just baffled that Dore is stronger than Salza, but I guess it doesn't truly hurt anything. Isn't this from the same guides that had Piccolo at 3,500 in the Saiyan saga? If so I can't really see these holding much ground. I personally find them too low anyway, Gohan got 1 shotted by one of them and I refuse to believe Gohan was less than 200,000 after everything on Namek (And then some more) Edit: What does this have to do with Cooler himself? Ive heard people say on here that they believed Salza was stronger than Final Form Frieza...idk about that but..i could see him maybe being stronger than 2nd form frieza..maybe |

Argh they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too low. Salza could keep up with Piccolo to a reasonable extent and he was in the 1-3mill range while Dore could stomp Gohan who should have been ~500k-1.5mill (calm). I think it would be fair to say that; Salza- 1,750,000 Dore- 1,250,000 Neizu- 1,000,000~ (don't really know what to make of him). |

these are way too low. at those levels, even krillin would have one-shotted them. gohan, piccolo, and goku would have been complete overkill. personally, i think they should all be over a million, at least. |

I concur. These levels they have listed for them bother me, and make me wonder what is true in the Daiz and what isn't. There's no way that Piccolo was holding back so much power while he was fighting them. Maybe he was holding back a little, but not THAT much. And the way he was fighting indicated that he wanted to kill them not toy with them. Even if they actually listed these levels as true levels, it's obvious that they made a mistake. Either that or Piccolo and Goku are a lot weaker in Movie 5. And I don't believe that since Cooler stated that he surpassed his brother with his new transformation. So I don't see how Goku and Piccolo could either be that weak or be suppressing that much power when fighting Cooler's Squadron. Just doesn't make any sense. |
