Eh, it's no big deal either way. I do enjoy debating with you Fulgore, hope you're not seriously going to ignore me from now on, you remind of myself a few years back. You usually bring great points to the table but you get frustrated a lot when people disagree with you, no big deal though. I got frustrated because people disagreed with me in the IRC the other day and I raged quit after spouting a few unnecessary expletives.

My point is, "I'm not out to get you" if I reply to anyone it's either because I really respect them or generally hate them, you're not in the hate category, that's why I'm trying not to say anything warn-worthy.

Anyway, if I offended you or hurt your pride my bad.

That is very true. The article does not need a solution for us to discuss. But it was just a comment on the validity of the article for the subject, not on the validity of the article for this debate. And you might have trouble with people posting the way they did, but no need to show us your frustration on it so much.
Although I do apologise for saying "lol, not gonna worry." Which is what I basically did.
What Cal did was quote an article completely irrelevant to mine, he clicked the first link he found. He found a website, looked up the owner of the website, found an article WRITTEN by the owner of the website, and linked an excerpt from it. It bared no weight on the original article. It was completely irrelevant to the article besides the fact that it was originally published on the website that coincidentally is owned by the man who wrote an article on forgetting 9/11. Cal was suggesting that he had cited it as a source. Essentially that's saying you first published your article in the New York Times, and someone comes out and says "WELL THEY POSTED THIS ANTI GAY ARTICLE ON THE NEW YORK TIMES! ***** THAT ARTICLE TOO!"

Guilty by association? Lol.

I'll give you all one chance to stop the pointless arguing and get back to a civilised discussion.

Otherwise I'll be closing the topic.

There hasn't been any discussion from what I've gathered. I'm gaining nothing fruitful from this other than trying to stress the seriousness of the situation. I am actually going to stop posting in ANOTHER one of my topics, just because it's so frustrating. This is like arguing with 5star about Gohan being stronger than Goku.

I did state the reason I didn't like the source was because of his works. Anyway, I didn't mean anything personally by it.

Not too sure why this is here? Deep Discussion is for debating/arguing? Not sure how it's pointless as it's all relevant too?

The point of this forum is to debate and see from other's points of view and reevaluate or defend what you think/believe, if we're going to close topics because of that then we don't even need this part of the forum.

If you can't drop the argument, than I suggest you just don't post in this topic any more. I don't see why the topic should be closed just because the two of you don't agree with each other. It's not fair on everyone else.

@Cal

That's true. But the two of you are reporting each other. Why have a debate with each other and then report each other when you don't agree on something?

That's really a low blow isn't it? I reported him for insulting Ani-Nations or Poo's intelligence as he said, "Stop being ignorant, go educate yourself" or something like that seeing as how the only warn I've got from here was for saying the almost exact same thing.

I had no problem with his arguments or how he approached with his posts at me as that's not what was being reported. Sorry if I reported the wrong one or something?

2-3 posts ago from me:

Either way it looks like Fulgore might be avoiding the topic now. Seeing as the argument has finished I'll leave the topic open.

As long as I don't see any more reports for the topic.

Sometimes it takes a tragedy to make a country understand how to get back on the right track. Some European nations have experienced similar things with currency, and war. And some of those countries are doing great now because of their learning from mistakes. Germany for instance is #2 in trade.

I just hope it doesn't take a Hitler figure, and a world war to reshape the nation.
Alright, let's see if I can get this topic to lean in another direction.

That's a very good point Engineer. Wars can band together entire nations no matter the goal or conclusion. It can also help ties (and worsen too) on an international scale.

Hitler was a great leader. His goals were obviously not the best, but I do agree that it was/is a reason Germany has become more successful, learning from mistakes is a necessary thing if you wish to become better.

The End of America Article addressing the issues that most people prefer to ignore. We're in a downward spiral. The virtues and beliefs this country was built on are gone. Unless we the people take a stand, this country is done.

Mm......I don't know man isn't this those thing polticians say will affect us in 2030 or something? And when it comes it isn't all that bad? All we can do is focus on getting better people voted this upcoming election.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Yeah I'm not joing that arguement lol

But anyway

People freak out because governments seem to lack the basic amount of brain cells needed to understand things that are important, seriously why are all politicians such douche's? They're all lying idiots they may go to universities and get fancy degree's etc but none of them even seem smart these days

Like with the BP oil spill it took them 87 days and countless tons of oil to fix it, and fixing it consisted of essentially putting a cap over the hole
A child could have thought of that, wouldn't surprise me if it was a child that did

It's only when something actually happens that governments even bother the human race is almost never prepared for anything

What next we're going to get told an asteroid is hurtling towards us that they could have shot down weeks ago? Yay

Yeah it's funny how that just because they have some fancy degree they think they're smarter than everybody. Like the people that built that bridge that collapsed (the name escapes me). The engineers said this won't work but the math expert that went to college said his math said it would work. The bridge ended up collapsing and people died.

They waste time and money on dumb things like the war on drugs and helping other countries when our country is facing problems. We are beginning to run low on fresh water and we can't cleanse it all because of all the chemicals that go into rivers from our sewage and what industries put into them. We have to try and find some way to distil large amounts of ocean water or something.

Kind of strange how at the beginning of this thread everyone was against me, and now they're all agreeing with me. It makes me feel a bit better, I guess. :D

I just thought I'd let everyone (and Fulgore) know that I actually am pretty educated when it comes to politics and the economy. I know what's going on. I watch the presidential debates (and the news when I can catch it on TV), so I know what I'm talking about. I'm not some dumb teenager who doesn't give a crap. I do care, but I'm not going to freak out about something like this. -_-

That's all I've been trying to say.
