That's roughly 6 months. The humans (and Piccolo), with battle powers no higher than 3000, died on November 3rd. They reached Kaio's planet December 18th. That's roughly a month and some change. It doesn't exactly add up. 1mil KM is also in D4: "In order to go to the Planet of the Kaio, where the Kaio who watches over the northern galaxy resides, one must use the Snake Road. From the starting point behind Enma Daio's castle to the end point right beneath the Planet of the Kaio, it is a distance of roughly 1 million kilometers." 1mil KM is 621,371.192mi. Someone figure that out. From what I gather, that's 14,450mi per day, which is 602mph, which is 882.9fps. Gohan's speed in the Boo arc is at least 1864mph, which is 2733fps, which if you do the math, is only 3.09x faster than what the humans and Piccolo were clocked doing. It really doesn't add up. Either Gohan was going slower than implied, or Toriyama wasn't thinking of all this jazz when he wrote it. Edited by Pyrus, Sep 15 2011, 08:55 PM.

I tried again and got 141.77mph traveling to King Kai's planet (Distance traveled divided by time - in this case 621,371.192 divided by 4382.903688 - total hours in 6 months) 12,945.23mph on the way back (621,371.192 divided by 48) This would take Saiyan Saga Goku with a PL of 8,000-9,000 3 hours to travel around the Earth once. Gohan was apparently traveling 621.371192 miles in 20 minutes (0.333333333 hours) which equals 1864.11mph which is actually almost 7 times slower than Saiyan Saga Goku was. This would take Gohan 21 hours to circle around the Earth once. Either I've done some VERY bad maths or how fast Pan flew is no indication of her strength at all as Akira Toriyama didn't really think about this stuff.

I think she is below Raditz while she is calm and up to Piccolo if she was mad, besides she is only 4! lol I just used a calculator to do all the dividing stuff (And the multiplying when I found out how long a month was in hours and just multiplied that by six) I actually just converted the KM's into miles and minutes into hours via Google :P I was just not sure if I was using the right method. Goku is MORE than confident (Someone who DOES NOT BS someone about their lvl of power) that Pan at THAT young of age would fight either Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, possible The Namek, maybe Tien if he decides to show up, and maybe even No. 18 and other Human fighters in her first round. Goku knew she would face one of these, if Goku knew Pan didn't stand a chance against any of them, or make it past the first round Goku wouldn't let Pan enter the Budokai. That's completely out of character, and saying Goku would is just an excuse to dismiss Goku's statement or try to take it out of context to make her sound piss weak, when in reality Goku's statement plainly points out that Pan is one of the strongest Saiyans on the Planet.

	list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god

I'm not biased against her or anything, I don't even hate GT Pan. It's just... way to unlikely to be any higher in my eyes. I actually think that Goten, Trunks and Mr Buu might have even let her win (Purely based off speculation and not fact obviously). I can imagine 2 guys who don't even want to fight letting her win and Mr Buu is just that nice, because of this I find it harder to place Pan anywhere. Vegeta is a harder one to figure out in that case but I honestly can't see him hitting a 5 year old girl. But when Goku said she won't win I think he was mostly referring to Uub since he even told Mr Satan that Uub might be the one to get to the finals this time.
