In some you can drink alcohol at any age but you have to be a certain age to buy it, while in others it is equal. While in some countries there isn't an age to buy or drink at all, you can buy it at any age. However there are some countries where it is outlawed and you can't even touch the stuff. Some countries like the Netherlands has a 16 year old limit for low alcohol while 18 for high alcohol. While others can be in the late to mid 20's. Ok tell me what you think it should be.

	list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god

Google Chrome	Eh, I'm pretty content with the 21 limit here in the USA. It's old enough for you to have matured at least a bit to where you're hopefully semi-responsible. Though the laws only matter to a certain degree. People who really want to drink are going to drink no matter how old they are. They can get someone older to buy it, or maybe their parents just don't care.

Even though the drinking and buying age is the same in the USA well people will drink, including me but I stop. The only way to get reduce it to a low level is going back to how it was in the 1920's but that will not work. It didn't work out at all and I don't support it at all btw.

Favourite Manga dat boi	Even at 21 years old, the human brain is not fully developed and alcohol could be harmful to the brain. I would say 21 is fine, but if I had the choice I would bump it up a couple of years.

FireFox Favourite Manga Fruits Basket	A little bit of alcohol is good for you though, but you may get some of it in natural products, it's like you have arsenic in your body already, it becomes a poison when levels are too high, like with most things. Regadless, I think 18 is a decent age to be allowed to buy/consume alcohol, though most aren't going to be responcible with it. Teenagers younger than 18 are going to drink anyway, part of the thrill isn't it? Having a higher age limit isn't going to change that, so in practice, an age limit is usless anyway.

Internet Explorer Favourite Manga Dragon Ball Z	It really depends, but by about 18/19 you should be ready. Me and my friends (along with many, many other teenagers) were drinking at the age of 13/14. I never got drunk because to be honest, I didn't like it all too much. Although I turned out alright, I don't deem it acceptable to be drinking at such an early age. I was just careful, I could of easily hurt myself or others. Who's to say I wouldn't end up stumbling around the place at midnight and get killed by a car? These things happen. Around 18/19 most people would be mature enough to handle getting drunk, I think. There's always the exception. I mean, every 18 year old who gets drunk on the weekend will be rowdy and wild, but most of that is a bit of a laugh. The exception is when people go beyond that, and become violent or dangerous. So, I'd say around 18/19 would be acceptable. 21 is much too old, I believe. Most people would of already had a drink by then. And by that I don't mean a sip.
