That's not the point. You were using the American adaptation of the manga (key word: adaptation) with your Raditz quote, and I countered with the original Japanese version, which takes priority over any copy, adaptation, translation, etc. since it is the original version. |

you brought up the bardock movie which a;lso isnt canon, so shouldn't that be ignored if we're going with strictly original. if that is ignored then there really is no basis of why you think saiyans DON'T train |

It's like with the Movies/Specials and taking the Funimation Script over the Japanese Script. The Japanese Script takes priority over the Funimation every time. |

I brought up the Bardock special because you were using the anime, which is non-canon. When you brought up the manga line, I brought up the original. So what do you want here? Anime or manga? |

You were being harsh. It's not like he posted a made up quote. He posted a real quote from the Manga, you shouldn't just look down at him for that and even claim that what he's saying is "laughable" because he never decided to look up if the quote was in the original Japanese manga. The manga does indeed say Saiyans trained, however it wasn't the original Japanese manga that said that. You expect fans to know every single line in Japanese before signing onto a fan board? How do you think fans will feel if they watch the series, want to come to discuss what they enjoyed, and then they get mean comments for not researching every little thing about the series first? If you're going to give advice then maybe you could be a little nicer about it. |

Okay, in the manga, Raditz never says Saiyans train. He tells Goku not to fight him with an incomplete battle power, and that's where my random guess quote came in. Even more, Freeza was afraid of the Saiyans because they were getting too strong. Do you think he would allow them to train, yet still sit and be afraid of them? That doesn't make sense. Fine then be a roody-poo to people. I really don't give a flying banana, if you want to make new users feel bad go right ahead. But maybe someday you'll learn how to respect people instead of saying "REALLY!?! If you keep saying stuff like that people will shrug it off and laugh at it because it's not from the official manga" How dare people not read the whole manga in Japanese and watch the entire anime in subs before coming onto a fan board! Lastly, I don't expect fans to know everything, but if someone is going to make claims, they should know what the're saying (In any Thread), and better be able to back it up. I don't hold hands, and if anyone expects it, then they don't belong on a forum...or at least around me, because I won't do it.

Ugh, sorry I just got a bit carried away there... I just don't want the more casual fans to be driven away on their first week or something =\ Anyway nothing in the original manga says anything about Saiyans training as far as I know. Maybe it does in one of the guides? If not then it's anyone's guess. I'd think they would though considering they're space warriors and all.
