I know that all what he said that he would teach them the martial artist was a lie, but why he hasn't teach them it? Give me your opinions.

Why was roshi scared to train the kids? Teach them martial arts? he didnt need to he gave them his special training making goku stronger and krillin superhuman, of course he trained them.

Master Roshi has only teach them the basics and didn't teach them the martial artist, but the question is why hasn't Master Roshi teach them the Martial Artist? (I'm not trying to insult you, I'm just saying that it's a little hard to read your sentences) Though if I read everything right, you're asking why he only taught them the basic stuff and not full-on martial arts... It was probably pretty unneeded. Goku and Krillin were both pretty strong, a lot stronger than he could have expected.. plus Krillin went and got killed, which led to Goku going off to fight King Piccolo, which meant Roshi couldn't train either of them. Since Goku was strong enough to rip a hole in Piccolo's torso, I'm pretty sure learning Roshi's martial arts wasn't of utmost importance. And after defeating King Piccolo, Goku spent pretty much all of the next three years training with Kami and Mr. Popo in preparation for the 23rd World Tournament, so I'd imagine he learned most of the stuff Roshi was going to teach him, or at least an equivalent of it.

Maybe the Orin Temple style suited Krillin more when you take in various factors; height, weight etc. Wouldn't Goku have already been tought at least a little of the Hermit style by Grandpa Gohan, or did he die before Goku was old enough to start learning martial arts?

	list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god

Does anyone remember remo williams the destroyer and the art of sinanju? its like that, you relearn what the body already knows and train the body to go beyond its MINDSET limits. ROshis training was the same thing, he trained them so they could excel in the styles they already know and take the superhuman, strength, agility, senses, speed and power with them...Back in the days of ancient fighting? you had to PROVE you were worthy of the training, and sometimes that means already knowing how to defend yourself, with goku being a saiyan trained under gohan and krillin a shaolin warrior monk? it wasnt hard at all to get them to realize the TRUE benefits of roshis training, which they took with them. Its all you CAN do in the end.

Yeah, English isn't my first language, I am still 12 years old Kid and I've attained to a school that gives bad English lessons. I used to go to a perfect school that gives good English lessons since I was in the 1st grade. Now, I will attain a good school. Close the thread for the god's sake.
