18 is part mechanical right?

How come he was able to spit her out even though he was blown In half twice?

Once by Super Vegeta and once by Goku.

What do you mean...?
Like, we should've seen parts of 17 and 18 when Cell was blown half apart or something?

I think that #18 was transformed into a singular source of energy when she was absorbed. Because she was a source of energy, the destruction of Cell's physical body wouldn't matter. The force of Gohan's punch would force that seperate source of energy out of Cell, and the energy would manifest into #18

Meh, I don't really know :/

MiraiTrunks probably gave the best explanation.
We don't really know anything about Cell's absorption process. I know one fangirl who described the plate in the middle of his chest (that you see in all three forms) is a sort of Well of Souls where he keeps all the people he absorbed. But that's entirely fan made.

well, that plate came from frieza. he had a purple plate right there. in fact, cell shares several features with frieza, such as the lines under the eyes

i know.

@ topic. the cybernetics in #17 and #18 were patterned after organic cells. that's why cell was able to absorb them in the first place. so, when he spit her up, he just reformed her entire body from scratch, cybernetics included.

So essentially the best way to explain it is to suspend your disbelief.. like most of the series.

Yeah, I say there is no logical explanation. Of course, there's also no logical explanation of being able to blow up a planet with chi. So...

has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it.

Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****.

I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. :D
Now, there's an idea.
