A bit like Gohan activating his ultimate form.

Posts: 2,526 Group: Duplicate Member #6,436 Joined: July 1, 2011	He can probably do KK*20 well enough now, probably as even as high as SSJ, but kk's no longer needed; the ssj state alters the body enough (mass, denser muscles) to maintain the high power output.

Chrome Favourite Manga Berserk	Yeah, AT most likely just dropped Kaioken after SSJ was reached (all like 'oopsies I got carried away') due to the multiplier being so ludicrously high it would kill any sort of conflict/tension which in turn kills the story. Either that or the only character who could possibly stand up to any subsequent threat would be Goku What would it be? A x1000 base multiplier for SSJ1? oh-ho-ho-ho, Vegeta is ready to commit suicide. There, there. Edited by SirParagon, Aug 30 2011, 11:29 PM.

Personally, I think he would be able to do like KKx20 like the others are saying. the reason i know he can't is because the kaioken requires perfection. to use the kaioken without potentially killing yourself, you have to have perfect control of a technique. goku hasn't used the kaioken in over 12 years. therefore, there is absolutely no way he has perfect control over the technique, so even a basic kaioken could kill him. the kaioken, because of the risks involved, could only practically be learned while dead, and the skill must be maintained, or it becomes too dangerous to use. if goku tries so much as a basic kaioken, he'd be on a quick trip back to king kais for a long class in "Why You Shouldn't Use Techniques You Are Rusty With".

Posts: 2,526 Group: Duplicate Member #6,436 Joined: July 1, 2011	I believe he can use kaioken to a sufficiently high level, especially after Cell Saga RoSaT, but there's really no purpose for using it after attain SSJ states; SSJs are just more efficient for maintaining the increase in power. Base body max is base body max; the super saiyan body is just better. Even if Goku is used to fighting, and even living, as SSJ, his normal state body is not. So assume that Goku uses Kaioken * 50: his normal body is outputting 50 times as much as it's supposed; his ssj body's purpose is to output that much. SSJ body is going to sustain 50 * power a lot longer than Goku's normal body is. SSJ is better.

Mozzila Firefox Favourite Manga Naruto Shippuden	He doesn't use the Kaio-Ken technique anymore because he can turn SSJ,which puts less strain on his body but gives him more power.Goku used Super Kaioken(Super Saiyan Kaioken) agianst Pikkon in Other World Tournament.That measures up to 100x Kaioken,maybe more.It was quite powerful(he slammed Pikkon into the nearby Moon),but put too much strain on his body.He realised it and didn't used it afterwards.That's my theory.Imagine what strain it would put on his body if he went Kaio-Ken x20 while SSJ3.He would pop like a baloon.
