And why was he stupid for staying dead? It's true that most of the villains came to Earth solely because of him. Frieza did, the Androids did, Cell did, Majin Vegeta did, Buutenks did, Buuhan did, etc. Kid Buu also did. If Goku hadn't returned well then the Supreme Kai could have dealt with Fat Buu himself, by triggering the same events that would lead to Ultimate Gohan. Buu would have been eradicated. And what do you mean by "didn't IT out of there"? That was the whole point. I mean, sure, he could have chosen somewhere else but he was on a bit of short notice. It's the probably the first thing that popped into his mind. It just couldn't be helped.

If Cell was too weak to even get Gohan angry then chances are Gohan could have beat him or at least gave him a decent fight, then when Gohan gets tired give Gohan a senzu and repeat until Senzu's are gone and Cell is dead

Chrome Favourite Manga Dragonball Z	I don't think Gohan would beat Cell that easly actually. Cell is far stronger than MSSJ Goku and MSSJ Gohan. Cell would simply use his full strenght to kill Gohan as quick as possible.Even if Cell is weakened from the last fight , he would still have a chance. They stated that Goku's energy is draining fast while Cell is only draining a bit. Maybe Goku thought that Gohan would not be able to kill him if Gohan didn't get enraged. But as I said before , Goku had not idea that Cell was alot stronger as he thought. Cell did however not gain a zenkai from the sensu bean , but Goku thought that Cell was at MSSJ Gohan's powerlevel. If he did not know that , then he maybe would not given him it. Cell was however less supressed against Gohan and he could've beated Goku , just like he did to MSSJ Gohan. Most things turned out right when he made decisions, even though they looked bad. Maybe he thought with his heart more than most people did, so most people can't recognize how he thought at all. What people also take for granted is that he was a very smart fighter, and if he made a fighting decision that seemed dumb to us...it probably wasn't because we arent martial arts masters. Yeah, it seems like when Goku gets beat down, he always bounces back and takes the villain out, except for this one time where his son got revenge for him! But when Vegeta gets beat down, he doesn't come back and somebody else has to step in.
