The Nigerian bombing.

Recently, there was a bombing on the U.N. building in Nigeria. A group from the north who is supposedly connected with Al-Quadae admitted to doing it from an anonymous phone call. What was said to have happened was that, a large truck/jeep rammed through the gates and blew a huge hole in the building. The total body count was 8 but, it is rising. They said that it was the first time there was any sort of attack or plan on the Nigerian U.N. The Nigerian government is doing everything to make sure the people are safe and the building is cleared out.

It makes me sick to think we still have terrorism in this present day. Why don't people understand it only hurts other for no good cause? Why does everyone have to be so ignorant to their own beliefs?

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

Maybe al Qaeda did it, maybe not. They tend to claim responsibility for things they did not necessarily do just because they want credit for it.

It was a different group. I forgot the name but, it doesn't matter who it is. It should stop.

For somethings, there seems to be a reason that you might sort of be able to understand but I don't think there is any reason to attack any UN building, the purpose of the UN is to represent that country on the international stage, so why would you attack it? The UN isn't western influenced either since China/Russia hold veto powers in the UN Security Council which passes the things that are most significant.

I mean, attacks on important buildings and infastructure can get a message across about something, I don't think it's right but it can do something.

But, what reason do they have when all the UN chooses to do is help? None of the people who lost their lives in that incident deserved it but, the people who caused it get to see another day. I understand it's for their religion. The Christians did it during the Crusades. I just think it to be dumb that they continue it to his very day.

Better start getting used to it, cause it's not going to go away.

For some people it's all they've ever known. Not everyone is so fortunate enough to be born in a humane environment, and you shouldn't expect that everyone share a single mindset when we couldn't possibly be exposed to the exact same things.

Imagine. People are brought up thinking terrorist ideals are correct because they've never been exposed to any other ideals. The people are somewhat partly to blame but mostly it's the people that are spewing out terrorist propaganda.
