Thus, when Goku turned Super Saiyan, his heart was tainted with rage and anger, resulting in his inability to use the Genki Dama whilst SSJ. (Don't mention the Super Android 13 movie). So wouldn't Goku be able to use the Genki Dama after he mastered the transformation in the RoSaT? He would presumably be pure-hearted.

Chrome Favourite Manga Dragonball	True; it would have just bounced back at Goku. Kid Buu did have a pure heart; sort of like Vegeta's back in the day when he obtained SSJ.
	darkwarrior has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it. Y2J Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****. ObsessiveFanGirl I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. Now, there's an idea.

NO, goku was bent on getting justice, tambourine was a monster that needlessly killed krillin, riding on the nimbus is for the pure of heart in their mission i guess, or just a genuine personality with no gimmicks, i think thats it, goku takes everyone in stride, tambourine proved he was evil and needed to be dealt with, evil is as evil does, and evil cant help itself. So yeah, gokus anger was righteous, he was hurt over the murder of a friend, if he was on his way to beat up and terrorize tambourine and tambourine was a good person? then he wouldnt have been able to ride nimbus. Cause the nimbus can read peoples hearts.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	I think maybe you just need focus to do it and no energy drain(makes sense) the pure of heart thing is probably more to do with actualy learning it as in evil people aren't allowed to get taught it that or the energy doesn't surrender its self for anyone using it for the wrong reason When he killed Kid Buu he was merely using the SSJ boost to push it not to form it was he not? He would never have been strong enough in base to push it against Buu, who was already pushing it back at him so I don't think SSJ matters to it here He probably could do it in MSSJ but what would be the point? It takes energy from the surrounding area so it would be as powerful as it would be in base I think, putting SSJ power in to it would probably overload it. Imo the only thing that could change is maybe how fast it gets formed but it's not likely if you think about it And Cell would never give him the time to do it and too maybe people would have died for it to be majorly effective probably the reason it wasn't used more than because it couldn't be

Canonically it may not matter but since it was explained in the movie and never the show? im guessing it was either a direct reference or forgotten.

The Devilmite Beam uses any negative energy and turns it on the person. So I guess you could say in DBZ: Pure Heart=No Evil
