Sparking!

Yamcha is more of a butt-monkey than Krillin.

Close race, I'm surprised.

has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it.

Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****.

I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. :D

Think about it. If you train all your life, only to have your hopes constantly destroyed by an bunch of crazy powerful aliens, who wouldn't give up?

Hell, even Vegeta gave up on his goal at the end of Z. Tenshinhan gave up on catching Goku, which was his main goal for years, too. They didn't stop training, but they did give up on something. Since I don't think Yamcha had a main goal like those two, he just kind of gave up in general.

Something I dont understand is why didnt Yamcha challenge Hercule to a fight and beat him...he would then be famous and rich.

I don't think he would want to do that to Mr. Satan. I don't think Yamcha was that big of a douchebag.

Haha Yamcha fails at life from what I see. The only good thing he had going was fighting/rivaling against Goku, otherwise he is pretty much worthless. Yes, I do feel bad for him but I mean he didn't even train that hard.

Yamcha clearly didn't have the kind of drive that Goku and Vegeta did whem it came to saving the world. Yes I think he worked hard and trained hard but he didn't ever go all out and know he was capable of doing something in a fight. I think he knew he had goku and vegeta who stood a better chance anyday against anythting they faced. Yamcha focuses more on his life on earth outside all the fighting later in life. I think he was fine the way he ended up so I don't feel bad but I don't think he was Complately undeserving either

He trained pretty much constantly throughout the entire Dragonball series. After the 23rd TB, though, I guess he figured: What's the point?

I felt bad for Yamcha. He tried so hard to keep up with the others, but at the same time he deserved some of the crap he got. He was playing baseball while others were training. Okay...I know it is filler, but lol he didn't take training as seriously as the others. The whole Bulma and Yamcha situation was so sad. I felt really bad for him that Bulma left him for Vegeta. I thought they were always going to end up together, but Yamcha got screwed over. It is also his fault for flirting with other girls all the time. Poor guy. >_<

Bulma did get ticked off at him quite a bit in the beginning with little reason. Sometimes it was just because girls were sort of chasing him, and he was just trying to get away.

Yamcha is one of my favorite characters, so I analyze him more than other characters. He is quite a loser in comparison to others but I wouldn't call him a fail at life. I mean he is one of the strongest humans on the planet. I feel like Yamcha didn't have as much of a drive because he was one of the closest to regular society. I think him, along with Gohan and Chichi decided to calm down with training and fighting in exchange for a more mainstream life. I don't feel sorry for the guy because I only see him as a loser in comparison to unimaginably strong characters. But his bad luck really did suck

^^Not sure what his max is. He's at his strongest during the fight with the Cell Games, though.

Edit:

I can't believe it! It's a dead tie right now, eight to eight. I'm even surprised this poll has gotten 16 total votes.

Ahh no love for Yamcha. Come on is he really that bad? I thought he was pretty cool in dragonball with his wolf fang fist. It's a shame he didn't use it more. In dragonball evolution, he was a fail though. :=]:

Look he even has a cool theme.

You can't hate him that bad. He had his own theme!!! I think that isn't a fail at all xD.

What surprises me is that none of the humans or Yamcha tried training in heavy gravity besides going to king kai's planet. They should have kept doing that. It probably would have helped them.

The saddest thing for me was Bulma dumping him. :T_T:
